I ordered this to move my camera from one vehicle to another. I don't know how this system of static cling and double back tape works so well. I thought I was going to break the windshield trying to get the double back tape off. As a matter of fact, I just left the electrostatic film in place. Cleaned the windshield of vehicle number 2, applied the film, and stuck the camera base in place. Done. I totally recommend the electrostatic film and adhesive kit by RedTiger.

I've used these to install the F7N and F7NP cameras in four vehicles over the past four years, and all of them are still holding strong. They've never fallen off or given me any trouble. I make sure to clean the glass with alcohol and a microfiber cloth, place the sticker first, then press the camera mount w/adhesive into place and let it sit for 24 hrs before adding the camera. I had to remove one of the cameras a couple of weeks ago after it had been installed in one of the vehicles for over two years. The sticker made removal a lot easier and cleaner than it would have been trying to get the adhesive itself off the glass. I've had good luck with REDTIGER products, and this one was no exception.

This stuff is amazing. I don't know how the electrostatic piece works, but it almost feels like it's going to pull the windshield out, it's so tight. My dash cam is definitely safely held to my windshield. Easy to install.
