I think that those people had, unfortunately bought a size too small. These are genuine Spanx, and having about 10 pairs, I know. Do be careful when washing them. They do require Hand Washing ideally.
Review: Roll up at the waist - Nothing like the shorter version, with the wide waistband. These Spanx power shorts roll up completely at the waist, creating a very uncomfortable tourniquet-like effect. The tummy control is good but the rolling up makes them almost unwearable. Very disappointing.
