Strong carrier that works perfectly for 140cc small dirt bike
100% stable usability! Very easy to put together and rock solid final product. I highly recommend. I would prefer to have the ramp stored outside of the rack versus between my car and motorcycle such as in the pictures. It would have been as easy as drilling another set of holes on the other side. With that said, it is a very easy fix, drill another two holes on the other side to attach the ramp to. Another thing is that the wheel chock, is so wide, it does not hold my dirt bike up. It’s not a deal breaker tho because the main reason I chose this rack versus others was because it had a separate bar in the front to strap down the handlebars. THIS IS KEY. I strapped it down to both the front stabilizer bar ONLY, versus middle bar ONLY and it’s not even close in terms of “locked down”. I would buy this carrier again just for the front stabilizer bar. The middle bar does make unloading very easy tho. I have a separate strap holding my bike down and when I unload the front two straps, the middle strap holds the bike in place and I don’t have to worry about my handlebar going through my rear window. Haha Overall carrier is of good value and is supremely good at carrying around my dirt bike safely! Bonus: 2019 Honda HRV with class 3 hitch and this carrier, FITS INSIDE MY GARAGE!!

Good unit
Bought for grandson to haul dirtbike and works great. He is able to load up his bike (2015 YZ250) by himself with no issues. Friend has a different brand and this one is is built way better.

A best buy
Wow. Super purchase and price. I use it to transport a surron ultra bee (about 185lbs) and also use it for an emtb. Works awesome for both. The overall unit is very nicely welded, painted, and overall fabricated. It is not heavy so you can easily attach and detach it from your vehicle. Because it’s so light weight it is easy to store standing up and takes up very little garage space. It does not fit super tight into female side of vehicle hitch so I use a u-bolt to clamp it tight. They provide one which is ok but I use a more robust one I purchased separately. I don’t attach the ramp on the outside unit to avoid losing attaching hardware and avoiding any rattles. I just put it in back seat floorboard . (Don’t put it in trunk because it may be hard or impossible to get out once motorcycle is strapped down). I did get the model with the front wheel chock and I’m glad. The chock lets you put the front wheel in and you can wedge it to make easier using tie-downs by yourself. It also gives you confidence the bike or motorcycle doesn’t go off the end when loading, especially if you are using the throttle to get the motorcycle up the ramp and on. Assembly was super simple with very nice heavy duty hardware with nylon locking nuts. I use 2 standard high quality motorcycle tie down straps and a Velcro strap across the rear wheel. Super stable.

Horrible manufacturing
Nice bike rack but whoever they have welding them but they are the worst welder I’ve ever seen in my life, this is ridiculous should’ve never even left the warehouse still has weld spatter that wasn’t scraped off, corners welds barley penetrated, pin wholes in the welds, overall nice design just horrible manufacturing

What could have been...
It would've been a nice setup. Light weight, easy to use with the included ramp and ramp storage. Wider tie down brackets as well. But when you forget to include the 2 support brackets for the system, it becomes useless! The issues with delivery and the seller are not part of this review, but the customer service from Black Widow is. The lost 1st shipment and the replacement 2nd shipment and the month long wait did leave me in an unhappy state. But this review is for the product, and the lack of customer service from Black Widow was very lacking. I gave them 10 days to ship out the support brackets, and the seller tried repeatedly to get it fixed. But Black Widow apparently could care less. I was left with no other option but to return the partial system for a refund. The seller was most helpful getting that done for me, and as I said, this is about Black Widow and the product. For the price, for the light weight and forethought of tie down points, this would've been worth it. But the customer service and lack of cooperation leaves me guessing.

Black Widow bike carrier
Great bike holder, lightweight as needed. The BIG flaw to me was I needed an extender to get the rail away from my tyre hanger. I had to buy an extender from UHual, didn’t have time to order from Amazon as it would’ve been less expensive. So, if you have an SUV with the spare on the back this won’t work properly without an extender, 8” works fine on my Ineos Grenadier.

Great, and better for the price 👍
Outstanding for the price, I honestly wouldn't go above 300 lb with it, but my bike is about 250 so I'm good. Took some bumps and turns going up to Mendocino with no issues
