Adore Shining Semi Permanent Hair Colour 118ml, 30 Ginger

I always reach for this product when I fancy adding a splash of colour to my hair. The value for money is brilliant, as one bottle can last for multiple applications depending on your hair length. 💧 My application tip: I always wet my hair first, then towel-dry it before applying the colour. I find it goes much further this way and works just as well as applying it to dry hair. I wouldn’t necessarily agree with the claim of 6–8 washes, though. How long the colour lasts really depends on your hair’s condition, quality and base colour, which all play a huge part in the final result. I’ve tried several shades, including Crimson, Violet, Bubblegum and many more, and the pigmentation is amazing! The colours are genuinely beautiful, and there’s a fantastic selection to choose from. From my experience, colours fade much quicker on darker hair, whereas on blonde or lighter hair, they can last ages — definitely longer than your average semi-permanent hair dye. In my experience, the fading starts to become noticeable after around five washes, although this varies from person to person. Pastel shades can fade particularly quickly, blue can fade towards green or yellow, and red can fade towards orange. For reference, my hair is dry but silky, and I’ve been dyeing it with box dyes and cutting it myself since I was 12. I’m now 30, so I’ve had plenty of experience experimenting with my hair! 😂 ⚠️ IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: BUY GLOVES! Gloves are not provided, and this product will stain your hands if you apply it without them. Overall, I absolutely love this product! It’s easy to use, offers amazing colour payoff, comes in a brilliant range of shades and gives you great value for money. Just remember that everyone’s hair is different, so your results and how long the colour lasts may vary. Definitely worth trying if you love experimenting with different hair colours! 💗

Wasn’t expecting much from this as not heard of the brand but wow! Usually use directions and crazy colours but I just wanted an added shine rather than colour and my hair (which had been coloured at hairdressers 4 weeks before) had faded from a warm copper to more of a strawberry blonde. Well I got more than shine I got an amazing colour. Absolutely love it. I’d advise anyone using it just for a freshen up to do a strand test first but if you’re like me and don’t mind it coming out bright then just go for it. I love the colour and my hair feels so soft.

I've been bleaching and using Adore dyes for about two years now, but I used to get them from another shop. I got them here because it was more convenient, though the price is slightly higher. I've never used this on unbleached hair, so I have no idea how well it sticks or how much colour it leaves. On bleached hair, it's amazing. The colour is always super vibrant. You may not always get the colour shown on the bottle, but that's more because of the base colour of the hair your dyeing over. I get very annoyed reading reviews from people who complain the colour wasn't the same on their hair. If your hair has yellow or orange tones in it, this will make the colour more peachy than the blue toned pink! I had this happen on my hair since it wasn't bleached perfectly evenly. Some strands are peachy. Same goes for if you dye over blue. The number one reason I prefer Adore dyes over others is that I can dilute it with conditioner and still get a lot of colour out of it. One bottle lasts me over ten applications. Currently my hair is a pastel purple and pink mix because I worked out it would be cheaper to buy two bottles, one pink and one blue, to make my own purple, rather than buying one bottle of purple. So you can mix these together to get an even greater range of shades. I'm never the same colour each month! The longer you leave it in, the brighter and more longer lasting the colour will be. This is true for unbleached hair as well. You don't have to worry about damage, this is like a conditioner that stains your hair. You do have to keep it moist though, so put a shower cap or plastic bag on top. I normally leave mine in for about an hour, but because of the pastels, I've only been leaving it in for about five minutes while showering and it still deposits colour, though it rinses out quicker. The second reason I love Adore dyes is that there is pretty much zero rub off. I can dye my hair, rinse, let it dry and not leave random colours all over my pillow. I don't worry about it running in the rain. I used to use Directions Plum and the rain made that run, it was very embarrassing. All in all, I really recommend this, it lasts for ages, smells great, excellent colour payoff and a wide range of colours.

Really good pink hair dye but I found the colour doesn’t last very long on my hair

Tried on darkish blonde hair and it didnt do much just a tint but daughter still loved it

I have dark and grey hair used some 9+ bleach and 20 % developer washed it out and blow dryed hair . Then put in adore neon pink its more vibrant on dry hair used a wide tooth comb then section hair to make sure you have not missed anywhere , quite a messy job but dont panick I had it over my arms face I used a water cleanser and it came off. Left it on about 30 mins washed it off and WOW its fantastic so BRIGHT everyone comments on how lovley it is , I have very long hair I would say with long hair buy 4-5 bottles , very short hair 1-2 bottles, it is a safe dye with no harmful products in and its VEGAN , I USE IT ONCE EVERY 2 WEEK TO KEEP IT BRIGHT , I LOVE THIS AND THEY HAVE SO MANY COULORS , Im close to 60 and IM LOVING THE NEON PINK HAIR THE ONLY HAIR DYE I will buy

I've used this hair dye in various colours over the years. I used 2 bottles this time as I have medium length locs. The method I used was to apply the 2 bottles to clean, DRY hair. Leave it on for one hour, rinse with lukewarm water, then pour diluted conditioner over the hair (2-3 squirts of conditioner in 200ml of water) and leave for a few minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water again, put on a towel for 15-30 minutes, and finally blow dry hair on the lowest heat. I did NOT use shampoo during the application/rinsing process, but I washed my scalp with shampoo 5 days later. The colour has taken really well, as my hair was a medium brown. The photos don't do it justice, but you can see the purple shine in good lighting. My hair looks shiny and healthy and the colour has stuck. Be aware the colour can transfer onto pillow cases, etc. until the hair is washed a few times. It is a messy process dying locs, and there will be some cleaning to do after. The dye will stain lighter coloured fabrics. I usually do the petroleum jelly around the hairline, but couldn't be bothered this time, and found a baby wipe cleared any dye residue from my skin. I typically lay a large plastic bag/bin bag in the bath to reduce the mess. Overall very happy with the results and quality of the product. Update: 2 weeks and 2 hair washes later, the purple is more visible, vibrant, and my hair still looks healthy.

I mixed it with some red conditioner and it still coloured my hair after leaving it on for 20 mins but only lasted a few washes. Will try it directly to my hair for a longer lasting colour next time. Warning!: It stains everything it touches. Wear gloves!

Non me l'aspettavo ma si é rivelato un ottimo prodotto. Se avete i capelli schiariti che tendono al giallo o all'arancione, questo prodotto funziona benissimo come tonalizzante. Neutralizza i caldi indesiderati e regala un riflesso freddo e pulito. La formula fluida si distribuisce in modo uniforme su tutta la chioma senza creare macchie di colore disomogenee, ma mi raccomando fate un doppio shampoo dopo la posa. Trattandosi di una tinta semi-permanente senza ammoniaca o perossido, lascia i capelli morbidi senza sfibrarli. Consigliato

Gives a great, deep, bright violet colour - love it.

Belle couleur le jour même mais fade vraiment très rapidement. Alors si vous souhaiter que les enfants naient pas les cheveux colorés trop longtemps, alors il est parfait. Perso, cétait leffet rechercher alors jen suis satisfaite 😁
