Smart Hub with Built-in Chime, H100, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Required

The Tapo H100 Smart hub is very easy to install in the Tapo app. It runs smoothly via the 2.4 GHz WiFi band with Tapo temp/humidity sensors. I have had no issues with the hub stability for about a year of operation with the hub located fairly far from the main router. I am very pleased with its responsiveness to the app requests. A bonus is certainly the chime function that doubles as an alarm when included in smart automations. Overall I really like the Tapo app and its smart automation features. Besides a simple "if trigger x then action y" setup, one can create also a third scenario, i.e. "if trigger x then action y only if condition z met". A fourth fixed constraint that can be added is the timeframe when the automation is desired to be active. Also a secondary automation can be created that activates and de-activates a primary automation as desired, e.g. enable heating automation (using Tapo temp sensor with Tapo smart plug driving a space heater) only if the room is occupied (using Tapo door sensor). Finally, one can set up multiple triggers x, actions y and conditions z. So the possible configurations cover pretty much any scenario for smart home automations! This is clearly a significant step up from smart automations offered by other brands.

Purchased this Hub to pair with my Tapo D205 door cam and it works well. Many features and pairing was easy.

I just got the hub with the tapo door/window sensor. I'm not a tech savvy person so I did have a bit of trouble pairing the device. But once I got it set up it worked exactly as expected. The app is very easy to use. Keeps a log of when ny door was opened and shut. I set up notifications and i do get alerts on my cell phone when the door is open. I set the hub to alarm when the door is opened but you can customize when or if you want alarm to sound when your door or window is opened. I agree with the other reviews. The alarm on the hub isn't very loud. I'm using it on my attic door and the hub is plugged into my bedroom a few feet away. I'm planning on getting a sensor for my front door so not sure if I'll here the alarm on the downstairs hub very good from my bedroom. Even though im using it as a security system It really isn't a real security system. so it's good for what it is and better then nothing. I recommend it and plan on putting these on my patio door and windows to.

Chime is loud and a great upgrade from the ones that come with the doorbells as it also lets pair other devices. Responsiveness is on point, maybe ringing half a second later than the doorbells. Note that due to the different frequencies from US and EU, it is NOT compatible for Sub-G working devices of another regions other than US (butons and sensors).

Required to get this hub to mount in the garage for connection with the inexpensive motion detector mounted in the rear of the mailbox. together, about $45. Hub easily connected and so far, quite realizable. Connected easily with the household google hub and now there are no unnecessary trips to the mailbox. We always get notified "you have mail".

So glad I made the switch to Tapo! Works well so far, connects fully with the rest of my TP-Link products and Google Home, and this allows me to have sirens in various locations throughout my house. I have a detached garage and needed something to alert me if garage doors were opened overnight and this works perfectly for that. I have one in my garage and one right by my bed so neighbors and myself will hear the alarm if someone's attempts to break in again. The price was definitely reasonable in my opinion and ive already mentioned how I feel about its compatibility, especially between google, tapo, and kasa. Switching to TP-Link products has allowed me to greatly increase security around my home and ive had a hard time finding smart home products that do what I need them to and integrate with my other brand products. Couple Minor Cons: - Alarm could be a little louder, Currently Need One On Each Floor. A dedicated siren would be a great item to see come out, not like this compact hub/chime. - TP-Link needs to make a smart keypad that integrates with door sensors and alarm

I was not impressed with this product. I wanted to like it, but there are several issues with it. There’s a bad delay when someone walks up before it will actually alert you. They say it’s because it’s battery operated and it has to wake up. But, that’s a real issue considering you need to know when somebody approaches your front door. It just wasn’t that great. I ended up getting a Wyze doorbell and I’ve been happy with it ever since.

The TP‑Link Tapo Smart Hub with Built‑in Chime works really well — setup is quick, the connection is stable, and the chime is loud and clear for alerts. It pairs smoothly with Tapo sensors and adds good reliability to the system. But be careful to choose the correct region version, because some Tapo devices only work with specific regional hubs. Once matched properly, the hub performs great.

Infelizmente não posso avaliar como bom, estava viajando e quando cheguei que fui colocar para funcionar, está com defeito e não posso trocar porque já passou do prazo, pior nem nota fiscal mandaram para que eu envie o produto para o fabricante.
