100 Rubie Double Edge Safety Razor Blades

My facial hair is a bit on the coarser side and found a great shave with Gillette Silver Blues, feathers have just do not work for me. Hear about the Rubie and ordered this 100 ct pack.These definitely perform and last longer than the blues for me. The blades feel a bit thicker and seem to hold their sharpness longer as I'm getting about 2-4 more shaves out of these over the blues. Bought the 100 ct at $30, which is a little more than what you can find them for on ebay but they shipped very fast and I've had no issues so far whereas ordering cheaper on ebay you have them being shipped from Russia or Georgia (the country) which could take a while especially with the ongoing pandemic.

Solid and smooth shave.

To me as long time user it was simply returning back to the best timing of comfort and feeling of the best made in the USA Gillette blades. So smooth , much better then other blades available now.

I've been shaving with a safety razor for about 5 years. In that time I've tried many sampler packs. Everyone's face is different but I find that Gilette Silver Blue and Gilette Platinum's are the right sharpness/smoothness for my face. I recently got a Gilette Rubie Platinum in a sampler. It shaves very similar to the Silver Blue. What really impressed me is that the blade held it's edge for 6 weeks (I usually only get 2 weeks out of the others). They seem to have a higher cost per blade but last 2-3 times as long.
