Then it happened ... I pulled a muscle while exercising ... and I was dealing with a lot of pain in my right calf. My doctor examined the injury and suggested I get a shin splint ice pack.The first time I took the ice pack out of the freezer and wrapped it around my leg, I thought it was too cold ... for about five minutes ... then I realized that my pain was ebbing away. I was told to freeze the ice pack, then wrap it around my calf for 20 minutes at a time, every two hours.I followed those directions, and within three days, my pain was gone.The NEWGO shin splint is well-made, with straps that easily wrap around the ice pack and keep it in place.
