Will this bar work on a slanted ceiling.

This bar will not work on a slanted ceiling. The ceiling must be parallel to the floor, otherwise the bar would slip if a force were applied to it in the direction in which the angle rises. Also, the plates at the ends of the bar are fixed at 90- degree angles to the bar. A carpenter could make a piece that would eliminate the angle of the ceiling, but that would have to be attached very securely to the rafters to which the ceiling is attached.

Is the U-shaped support handle adjustable in height?

Yes it is My homeowner loves it

What height is the handle?

The handle is adjustable so you can fit it to your needs. I believe the standard ADA height is 35 inches to the top bar but check that on the ADA site if you need that information.

How high is the handle above ground, will it work for short 5'1" senior lady?

Handle can be adjusted up or down to get to the desired height. Check the ADA site for proper height for the elderly.
