Extremely useful adaptor
My new computer only has HDMI and USB ports. The speaker system from my old computer is 3.5 mm jack and couldn't be used on new computer. This adaptor works perfectly and saves me from spending $$ on new speakers that have HDMI or DP connectors. Great adaptor, well built, and I received it in 2 days.

Can't get this in a local store
My pcs are a bit old and the 3.5 mm ports don't work. AND there aren't enough usb ports for all the stuff attached. This device is perfect in either case for receiving a speaker that uses a 3.5 mm plug.

Cheap Solution to a Dead Sound Card or Section
My PC, like most has the sound card built into the motherboard. That’s great until it stops working. Rather than go to a lot of trouble I bought these and plugged one into an open USB port and my speaker input into the tail end of the USB adapter. I restarted the computer and it automatically selected the USB sound port and my sound problem was solved. Noisy, loose in the USB port/causes another window to pop up causes the music to not play correctly.
This is the second type of USB to Audio converter that, when I plug it in, another window pops up that tries to usurp the YouTube window that's already up (other adaptors DON'T do this). What is up with these??? There is nothing I can find to stop these from doing this...plus the sound really sucks! Scratchy/cuts in and out/very loose in the USB port...others are tight in the USB jack and not scratchy. In one word...Terrible!Sending them back............again.

Have bought & used JSAUX cable products in the past and been very pleased with them, so thought I'd give them a shot at hardware. Plug and play operation as expected.Does occasionally "drop out," requiring a (sound troubleshooter service) USB device restart.
