R12 MultiTrak mobile 8-track recorder and compact creative recording studio for musicians, record, cut, edit, loop, copy, integrate effects and produce via touchscreen

This is the product I've been searching for, I wish I'd bought it ages ago. I use it to create my own music with Roland electric drums, guitar, bass and vocals. Has excellent effects built in for vocals reverb, acoustic or distorted guitar. Recorded vocals, guitar, bass and drums perfectly. Great for practising or putting together quality demos. Only issue is it's a small touch screen and I have big fingers, but I can live with that, once you've set up effects and equaliser, all main buttons (record, rewind, play etc.) are on the device. Haven't tested linking it up with a teams call yet but seems possible so will definitely test that out soon. Overall, great device that packs a lot of functionality in.

Took a bit of working out and the touch screen is hard to select things on, but it seems to work well. Happy with it so far. Importing tracks is annoying and the built in effects aren't the best. You have to get the 44.1 24bit and mono/stereo settings perfect for it to work, but got there in the end. For the price, it is pretty good.

I was impressed by the features of this digital recorder after watching several YT videos but on receipt I was extremely disppointed and returned item. The unit is rendered unusable because of its lack of USB ports The single micro USB which is commandeered by the electricity supply plug is a ridiculous idea. I spent £ 50 on a a Multi USB HUB and could still not get the machine to connect to my PC or record anything. I returned to Amazon for a refund which they honoured but wasted £50 on the Hub as I do not need it for anything else. I purchased a similar item from Roland Boss which I am happy with - so I would recommend them instead of Zoom. I found the whole experience very stressful

Gave up on this as the drum tracks are rubbish,and trying to move tracks down the screen is very difficult. I prefer just to use my line 6 jm4 looper for making backing tracks now.
