I found the main scope very easy to assemble, the spotter scope while easy to set up moved without much provication but works with care. Supplied with a good range of lenses, basic set up instructions, user guide and moon filter this scope is an absolute bargain and a great introduction into astronomy.....it does function well as a standard telescope too which can add to the fun factor. Review: Good value for money, but this is a budget scope. - Good for the money. You can see the moon clearly and we have spotted Jupiter and 5 moons. It is very light however, so the slightest touch judders and wobbles the image. Help!** A: Hello AlisonFirst of all set it up in the daytime. Ensure the small Finder scope is secured on to the main telescope tube. Fit one of the low power eyepiece say 20mm into the rear end of the main tube. Look at a distant object say a church steeple or chimney through the small Finder scope and adjust the scews holding the Finder scope until you have the object e.g church steeple in the centre of the finder scope. Tighten the finder scope screws finger tight only. Do not worry if the steeple is upside down. This is normal.When you have got this correct then look through the main telescope tube. Add the diagonal eyepiece to the existing 20mm eyepiece and the image will be seen the normal way up. Remember this is all done in the daytime. You are now ready to use the telescope at nightime. Try not to disturb the finder scope setting or you will have to do it all again.
