Great story time books!
Gifted several of these books in the "How To Catch A ..." (Gingerbread Man, Reindeer, Elf, Mermaid, Monster, etc.) series to our nieces and nephews for some holiday pre-gifting fun. The story lines are cute and rhyme-y. The pages are high quality paper with beautiful, detailed pictures. The bright colors and fun depictions really capture the interest of the kids. Beautifully done, great series !
I love all this authors books. This series is just adorable, we have all the ones now. We started with the How to catch a leprechaun, and bought the last one for Valentines. The kids will love the beautiful illustrations and the stories are actually really good. The price is so reasonable too.

Great book for children
I bought this book for my grandsons who are 6 and 10. They both loved the colors of the pictures and the 10 yer old could read it to his brother. The story was also a cute story.

Good book for ages 4 to 7
Good book for children ages four to seven. I read books to children in hospitals, and they have really enjoyed it. Good illustrations and story.

Such a great gift
Ordered as a stocking stuffer for 4 year old great nephew. Lovely illustrations. Recommended. Not too big for small hands to hold and turn pages.

The story is a bit drab
I wouldn't buy it for a friend's child. Not returning it but not sure if my granddaughter will really enjoy it The story does not flow well.

Book was oddly written. Sentences didn’t always make sense.

Weird story for little kids
Read half and put it away. Not a good message at all and encourages really strange/poor behaviour. Read to young children with caution.
