Works well, great value.
Great little cap light! It's small but has a very bright light! The clip is nice and sturdy and holds onto my cap very well even when bending over. Perfect for my night walks with my dog! Easily fits into any pocket or small bag to have it with me when I travel! It's still going strong with the first set of batteries. Recommended!

Worth the money
My first impressions are good. They throw a decent amount of light. I like the dual settings. The clip seems strong so far, but I haven't had them long enough to tell how long they will last. Not only do they work on your hat brim, but also clip nicely to the bottom of a welding helmet.

Great for the woods!!
I wanted to give these a try for deer season this year. I love them! these are great for getting through the woods in the dark!!! I have owned my hat lights and this is hands down the best ever. It mounts to the top of your bill, so when you exhale in the cold you don't have the cloud of steam that the light reflects off of and blinds you (as with the other lights i have tried). It tips up rather than down, I thought i would not like this but when you talk to someone you can just flip it up so you don't blind them, when it is laying flat against the bill of your cap it is aimed perfectly. Cleaning up a deer after dark is great with this too, the light is always where you're looking! I will be ordering another set of these, so i can have one in my fishing gear, camping gear, atv gear, tool bag, etc. This light is GREAT!!! (However, I do think that "350 lumens" is a bit of a stretch. Though, there is plenty of light.)

Very bright and super convenient.
These were bought to update my emergency supplies at home. I like the way they illuminate (very bright) and I absolutely love the convenience of the clip. I tried it on an baseball cap and worked great. I also clipped it to my trouser belt and it worked well too. I only use triple A batteries for my emergency lights and radio (cheaper, more durable and easier to find) and I know by experience that a flashlight that leaves my hands free is the only logical alternative. I believe these will do the job just fine. I recommend it.

not a hat light.
i'm surprised by all the 4 and 5 star reviews. if these things weren't pretty bright i'd have given then 1 star. they're not designed for hats. if you wear them with the light above the brim then the light can only point forward or up unless you wear your hat like a weirdo. if you wear the unit with the light below the brim them if you want it to point down at all it blocks your vision. it seems to be designed to be clipped to a belt. there are even cut outs on the slip that further suggest this. it's possibly designed to be attached to a headband. i guess i'll make use of one on my belt. it might be nice to have hands free maybe for picking up dog poop at night. i dunno.

Not 350 Lumens! Liars. Also, it only tilts up when mounted on top of the bill of a hat. Can't tilt it down. Ridiculous.
There is no way this light puts out 350 lumens. I'm guessing it's around 35 lumens. The on/off switch isn't in the best location. The light flickers with movement. The hinge is ridiculous. When the light is attached to the top of the bill of a baseball hat, you can only tilt the light up. If you attach the light to the underside of a hat, you can tilt it down, but now it's in your field of vision. Don't waste your money. I keep forgetting that I get what I pay for.

A Good Light for Running in the Dark
The media could not be loaded. ย Great little cap light! It's small but has a very bright light! The clip is nice and sturdy and holds onto my cap very well even when bending over. Perfect for my night walks with my dog! Easily fits into any pocket or small bag to have it with me when I travel!I have had 2 other types of cap lights and they either didn't hold onto the bill of the cap well or the clips would break after a short period of time. I don't see this one ever having either of those problems at all!

Good for the money
I bought 2 other cap lights at the same time. While the jury is still out regarding whether they're the best, they are definitely the best for the money. The one that might beat it was twice as much per light. This will be decided by how well they light up what I want to look at and how durable they are. I will update the number of stars when a decision is made. One pleasant surprise is that you can flip the clip. This is good because the way it comes, it can't be mounted under a curved bill. But you just take out one screw and flip it around and it works great. They put the hinge dead center of the device to allow this. That said, there are some negatives:1. 1 of the 3 had a clip that was wompy jawed. It looks like it got hot and bent or something. It makes the light look off to the left. I'm using it first to see if the clip will break.2. It's large and heavy. I'm worried it will fall off the bill of the hat. It's not unassuming like some other cap lights I own, so these will not be worn everyday. To me, the draw of a cap light versus a regular headlamp is that I'm always wearing a cap, so a cap light can be available anytime I need to see into a dark corner. With my old light, most people didn't realize I had a light until I turned it on.3. I don't believe the 350 lumens claim. I bought another one that claims 150 lumens and it's tough to tell the difference in the 2. It should be very obvious with that big of a gap. I suspect they added up the spot and flood functions to get to 350, but you cannot turn them both on at the same time. But I would need some kind of light meter to know for sure. (I bet amazon sells those!)
