Much more comfortable than full size air mattress.
My son likes to wild camp, backpack, fish and plans to start motorbike camping this summer. This means every inch of space and ounce of weight make a difference. We really weren't expecting this to be as good as our much larger self inflating mattresses or the full size air mattresses, but I hoped it would be better than nothing. My son was very pleasantly surprised. He says it set up very easily and was extremely comfortable . He found it just the right size. He is around 5' 11" and perhaps 170 lbs. The air in this goes into little pockets which stay inflated with weight on them, unlike many air ,mattresses where you have plenty of air all around you but sink down to the ground with your hips and shoulders. It remained inflated overnight and packed up easily. The whole thing rolls up easily and fits into a tiny bag, under a foot in height and perhaps 4" or just a tad more in width. The whole thing is well under kg, with a listed weight of .66 kg. I would have guessed about a half a kg. My son bought this for bivvy bag sleeping, where you just have an extra layer over the sleeping bag and a tarp. But I did buy a ground tarp to go under it. It ended up used in an ultralight tent instead, so it stayed quite clean, but it's easily washed off with a damp cloth if needed. The material feels quite robust and I hope this will last a long time. This is an Amazon Basics item, and I have come to expect the same quality with Amazon basics as with top brands. It wasn't the brand I doubted, but the concept. But considering the very high quality of this item and the amount of space saved, I would ,like to eventually phase out the other sleeping options and replace with these, because even with car camping we always seem to need more space.

Great Space-Saving Mattress Topper for the Van
I've been using this as a mattress topper for my campervan bed and it's been a great addition. It’s easy to inflate and deflate with the built-in foot pump, packs away compactly, and doesn’t take up much space—perfect for van life. Only downside is that it can be a bit noisy when turning over in a sleeping bag, which leads to a few complaints from the wife! But overall, it’s comfy, practical, and does the job well.

light, cheap, comfortable
for the price i had low expectations. used this on a rowing tour. light, compavt when packed down. easy to inflate and very comfortable. im heavier then the weight recommendation and was very comfortable. liked that it is somewhat waterproof too as being in a boat means things inevitably get damp. Had 4 great nights sleep in a row

Good Entry-Level Mat, But Lacks Real Comfort
I picked up the Amazon Basics Waterproof Camping Sleeping Pad for a recent family camping trip to use as a backup pad, and it performed exactly as its "Basics" name suggests—no frills, but functional. The Good: The main selling points are accurate: it is incredibly lightweight, folds up very compactly, and the material seems genuinely durable and waterproof. It was easy to strap to the outside of a backpack without adding noticeable weight or bulk. It works well as a barrier between the sleeping bag and the cold, damp ground, which is its primary job. The Not-So-Good (Why 3 Stars): If you prioritize comfort, this is probably not the mat for you. It's very thin, maybe only providing about a half-inch of padding. Lying on uneven ground, I could definitely feel rocks and bumps through the mat. It's definitely better than nothing, but I woke up feeling stiff. Also, because it's so rigid when unfolded, it tends to roll back up at the edges unless you have a heavy sleeping bag on it. Verdict: This is a decent, affordable option for kids (like my son, Theo, who didn't seem to mind the thinness!) or for emergency/ultralight backpacking where weight reduction is more important than a good night's sleep. For proper comfort on multi-night trips, I'd recommend investing in an inflatable pad instead. It's solid, but strictly "okay."

Must Buy
Excellent product. Easy to setup and put away. Also very comfortable to use. It can also be used as a spare bed.

Pops after a few nights.
While this is a nice design and comfortable I have to say its durability is not at all there. Two nights in a standard campground and one in a bivvy was enough for this thing. I don't even think it got a puncture, it seemed to be leaking around the valve for the pillow/pump (let's stamp a lilo into the floor repeatedly, that's a good idea) and while it would hold air without me on it, as soon as my head was down I heard that familiar hissing sound. The hole was too small for me to find so it went in the bin. Really bad product. Have had a terrible time with these having bought a more expensive one and the same thing happening. Will be purchasing a z lite or robens zig zag as a ground mat and seeing what I can do to repair the good one.

Good value
A bit thin but works well enough to keep you off the ground. Good value for the money. Inflates quickly.
