Works don’t throw away your scanner
If you have a decent scanner worth over 50 bucks worth the buy I replaced the one on my launch crp123 that is few years old but the outer shell of the obd2 plug started to dry up and crack exposing wrapped wires did the job had to make a little adjustment to make both screws line up but not a problem works perfect and should get a few more years out of it

Right cable, wrong fit
The cable arrived and was the right type of cable but the shape of the 15 pin side wouldn't allow me to insert it into my Creader scanner. I had to shave the humps on both sides of the cable end down to get it to work to reduce the overall thickness. After that it worked like a charm. 3 ⭐
