The media could not be loaded. This is my first time buying a Polly Pocket reproduction. I am lucky enough to have several of mine from childhood, so it was fun to compare old versus new.And I have to say, the new is even better!The set seems extremely high-quality, nicely made and everything is well printed. Mine has no problem clicking shut, and the lights are so cute and I love the flickering fireplace.I feel like the older sets are a little more chintzy, but this new set seems really Robust and well-made. I love that it comes with three Pollys, All of which are just adorable. I will also say that all my older ones are made by Bluebird, and not by Mattel.I hope they continue to release more of these retro sets, they’ve done the perfect job of bringing classic Polly to life. I hope Mattel realizes that their are target demographic for these new sets are not children, but gay millennials who love nostalgia!

My girls always want Polly pockets and I only will get original like ones because the quality of new ones is so tacky

This purchase was mostly a nostalgic one! However my 9 year old was so happy since we have been putting off getting her a Polly Pocket since her younger siblings would choke on the tiny pieces. However this is the first one I have found that only has 3 small pieces, so its easy to keep track of with the young babies in the house, plus it can easily fit in the box and then store it away when she isn't playing with it. She loves to bring it to school since it's small enough to carry around and play with her friends.

En general me ha encantado y no me arrepiento de haberla comprado, ya que en su momento no pude hacerme con ella y es una maravilla que las vuelvan a sacar. El material, a mi no me parece malo, lo único que yo mejoraría sería algún fallito de pintura como en la tabla de cortar y de las figuras, la polly del vestido azul ha visto tiempos mejores. Las otras dos figuras están perfectas y el cambio de la figuritas de la amiga me gusta más que la original. Los colores elegidos me gustan mucho, los mecanismos funcionan perfectamente, me sorprendió gratamente que la comida de la mesa no son pegatinas, tiene relieve y está muy bien pintado. Las luces alumbran mucho (no trae pilas se compran aparte) y la luz de la chimenea hace el efecto del fuego. La veo apta para que jueguen niños con ella y dudo mucho que se rompa a la primera de cambio como leí en otros comentarios, al menos la mía esta perfecta y se ve resistente. Le habría dado 5 estrellas pero le doy 4 por los fallitos que he comentado. La recomiendo tanto para coleccionistas y para niños.Edito:le he hecho un apaño a la poly del vestido azul, con arcilla polimerica amarilla le he puesto un flequillo y al menos para mi ha quedado mejor, es la última foto, por si a alguien le pudiera servir y la quiere mejorar un poco

A lot larger than I thought, can’t say this would fit in a pocket but the detail is great, nice quality, a wonderful buy!
