Mag-safe Phone Grip Stand

I love this magnetic ring for my phone. A separate metal ring is glued to the back of my phone and that allows this to be detachable. Which is great for attaching to my magnetic car phone stand. Plus, with the whole thing is on my phone, I can prop it up anywhere and place it on the fridge while cooking. Highly recommend.

I've liked this holder during it's lifespan, and like anything there's always pros and cons. I got this coming from a popsocket, so adjusting to holding the new shape took some getting used to, but the extra functionality from the movement made that pretty smooth. I even got compliments from folks when I'd prop my phone to reference something while working on a project, and the grippy rubber on the kickstand keeps it in place while tapping on the screen. The hinge is the main reason I'm coming to write a review, unfortunately not for a positive reason. I got this product at the end of August, and now throughout December I noticed it clicking more and sort of dangling when it used to stay flat to the back of the phone. Eventually I noticed the problem was the hinge coming loose, and just last week it finally gave out entirely. Right now the only thing keeping the kickstand on is a safety pin, since I didn't have anything else that really fit as a replacement. A couple additional things to note, the "360° swivel" is certainly a stretch, because while you can technically swivel it, you either have to pull hard on the hinge whichever way you're moving it, or pull it off and pop it back on. Not really a big issue in the moment, but with the hinge already being the weak point, tugging on it all the time just to try and angle the phone properly isn't great. The magnetic side of the kickstand is not especially strong either, and if you're planning to try to prop your phone up with only the magnetic force as support, the phone will drop shortly after unless you have additional support under it. Overall really enjoyed it while it lasted, but the hinge is the killer for repurchase, since I don't really want to have to replace it every 3-4 months. If you're someone who likes to swap out phone accessories regularly and want something unique for a few months, this is still a good buy.

It is great quality, but needs a mag safe case and will not magnetically attach otherwise. It’s shiny, sturdy, and beautiful! ————————————— This is beautiful and full size. But the added sticker magnet won’t work. It’s far too small. But mostly, this does NOT work over a phone case as advertised. It likely could work directly onto a phone without a case.

Pros • Strong Magnet: Highly reliable and stays exactly where you attach it though over time it very slightly rotates. • Vibrant & Solid: The metal build looks great and feels high-quality. • Sturdy Stand: The hinge is conveniently stiff enough to maintain any angle you set without slipping or collapsing (though at first you may find that a negative point, I’ve actually learned to like this exact aspect). Cons • Heavy: It has a noticeable heaviness that adds weight to your device. • Maintenance: The finish picks up fingerprints that are a bit stubborn to wipe away (though they aren't very visible). • Installation: Could be complicated if you’re not used to reading manuals but if you can be street-smart theoretically it’s very easy to put on. Just remember that it can’t be used on any phone case at all as it requires the case to be heavy duty and closed from top to bottom securely.

This ring is absolutely incredible. I say that because it is the strongest magnetic ring that I have ever encountered. I appreciate its adjustability. The unfolding allows for close proximation of hand or distant or thickness of hand. I would highly recommend anyone looking for something that is adjustable yet strong and seemingly unbreakable, this is it!

I recently got two of these for my husband and I after explicitly only using pop socket’s as a phone grip. This is a fantastic concept HOWEVER the biggest hinge became loose within a month of use for two separate magnet phone grips (rainbow and silver) one was holding up an iPhone 16 Pro Max (heavy use - attaching the grip to a metal surface and maneuvering very frequently/ using the stand and maneuvering frequently/ just as a phone stand) and a Samsung S26 ultra (moderate use, mostly phone grip and desk top stand use). I was hesitant that it was operator error from my first use I interpreted as “heavy use” but if not to attach it and be able to move it to the desired view, what is the point? Would give an overall 0 stars if not for being a great idea

The iridescent finish is super pretty. I’ve had this for almost a year, really loved it at first - occasionally the magnet would fall of my phone or get bumped and separate, sometimes causing me to drop my phone or for the ring holder to fall. Really enjoyed it for propping up my phone for short periods - like using it for a recipe or checking cameras at home. Within the last few weeks the main hinge has stopped working so it just flops now, the loop is helpful for holding the phone, but the stand function no longer works.
