I'm expanding my backyard patio and I can tell you that one of the most tedious tasks is leveling the ground. I used to use a regular rake and then a board but now with this Leveler rake I can do it all in one step. It is really easy to use and it is really effective at creating a flat leel surface. I highly recommend getting one if you have landscaping to-dos.

Excellent leveler! My Dad & I used it to level up a few spots in his lawn, and it was mostly a test drive for me to see if it will work for my true intention for the purchase: leveling small gravel and then sand in my backyard for putting in a paver patio. I kept watching diy videos of paver patio jobs where they’re on their knees, dragging a 2x4 over some pvc pipes in the ground to level the surface. I had back surgery and can’t do a lot of work while bent over like that, so I found this with an extremely long handle that will make this job much less back-breaking. I’m starting with sod removal in a few days and will update if this isn’t amazing for my patio, but a friend who does cement pouring says they use the same kind of tool for the gravel work under/around the pads & it works great. The picture is of my dad finishing leveling in a dirt mix into a low spot in his yard. He’s 78 yrs old and doesn’t like work when he has to bend too far either. He found this to be quite helpful for himself as well.

I should have purchased one of these years ago. Maybe not this exact rake but this tool in general. It makes spreading so much easier and more precise than a normal rake. I was a bit confused with the product images compared to the customer images. I'm not sure if the product was revised or if there are two models being sold by the seller. There are customer images that show the rake with U channels but the product images shows square tubing. I received the rake with the square tubing as it is shown. The screws for the handle assembly are less to be desired. I've come across these several times with other products. They are cheap and a philips head does not seat well into them. The screwdriver slips and if not careful, you will strip the screw head easily. After using it for a while, the handle grip began slipping off constantly, a lil spray adhesive into the grip and slipped it back on did the trick. Over all, for the price and ease of use, I am happy with it.

Great rake with many uses. We have been working on remodeling our yard and this has been very helpful with the cleanup. It works well with sand along with lawn to create an even surface. It definitely seems to be made out of high quality materials as well, with it being built out of stainless steel.

This is everything I expected it would be. An important note that many buyers of items like this. It's meant to be used with light soil or sand. It's not meant for rough grading, a garden rake is needed for that. When used with light soil or sand, the expectation should be a surface without divots and uniform grade. Small adjustments by moving material can be made to further perfect your work area. This or any similar lawn leveler will not work moving or leveling clumpy or rocky soil. A garden rake, or other mechanical equipment would need to be used.

Everything about this rake is "decent" besides the handle poles. There's only one hole to connect it, so I had to drill a second hole for the other side. Poor quality control. Probably should spend the extra $40 and get the USA made one.

Worked great for leveling out a pathway.

Does a pretty good job of leveling dirt, reasonable size. Had it for a couple of seasons now, seems I have to keep adding dirt and seed every year to fill in divots probably due to my large maple tree. Only complaint is handle doesn't stay on, ended up putting a screw in it and some duct tape to keep it on.

I gave it a 4 star because of 2 reasons - you have to be careful when using as end will flip back on you when leveling, which is frustrating and don't put your hands too low on handle because will get caught/cut on nut and bolt (sometimes you will want to do this as the handle is long and you want more control - ouch). is not too light, spreads well and is well made. overall am happy with purchase because when I use it I know what to watch out for.
