Review: Don't buy a mat if you have cats - I love this mat, it's so cushy and feels wonderful... But I was dumb. I didn't think about how attractive it would be to a kitten who likes to make biscuits and sink his claws into everything. The very first day I saw my mistake. Sigh. It looks terrible now... still works great, but really looks awful. So my advice... if you have pets, you might not want to invest in this.

Bought this to put in front of a high windowseat. My dog jumps on and off and I was afraid the hard surface would contribute to arthritis or even a fractured leg. I got the 5’ size so it’s like a runway for her. So far it’s perfect. Pricey but will save on possible future vet bills. The khaki color is actually taupe. It’s been a few years and this mat is still perfect. My dog loves it.
