Every winter I fight a losing battle with mice that come in from the fields to get warm. Humane traps are completely useless in my experience, and the little boogers get wise to the snap traps and learn to avoid them. I was just about at my wits end a couple of weeks ago when several of my prize succulent plants were gnawed down to the roots. As a last resort I decided to try poison and I'm so pleased I did. I filled a dish according to the instructions and placed it behind my chest freezer where I suspected the point of entry was. The next morning only a few grains were left and later that day I found 3 dead mice + 1 dead rat outside in the garden.
