Great design and build quality, disappointing performance.
I was in the search of a bright, portable and sturdy area light for working on my car, and came across this LE 20W worklight. The price was little bit steep compared to others, but in the end I was convinced by the large internal battery and the fact that it can be charged via micro-USB and had a USB output for charging my phone if needed.Upon opening the package I was very impressed by the build quality and overall feel of the light, it has a substantial weight and everything feels really solid. The "kickstand" on the back is not flimsy at all and will easily support the unit in any angle, it has a great clicking feel to give you several angles. First time turning on the unit it surprised me how bright it was and the tint wasn't the almost blue some other lights this class produce, but a nice daylight white tint. But my enjoyment did not last long as I noticed severe output loss after some time of running in high mode, and it wasn't because of the battery being depleted.More about that below, here are some positive impressions:**Build quality and construction:**-Aluminum front plate, not plastic.-Feels solidly build and the corners even though they are hard plastic give decent grip.-Kickstand on the back firmly supports the light in various angles-USB ports are protected by a cover with a rubber seal**Functions and ease to use:**-3 brightness settings: High (center COB with lens, shines a full circle), Low (outer COB ring, more difussed light) and flashing red (also outer LED ring)-Both in high and low the beam was very uniform and with great tint, not blueish/greenish like most cheap worklights, but a very eye pleasing daylight white.-Easily recharges with any micro USB source-Can act as a powerbank and charge your phone**Performance and Technical details:**-Two COB LED emitters on the inside which rest on top of the front aluminum plate, allowing efficient heat dissipation. The Thermal paste was poorly applied, but I guess it does the job. I ended up replacing the thermal paste with some silver arctic.-I disassembled the unit and took out the "6,000mAh" battery which consists of 3x 18650 2,000mAh Li-ion cells in parallel, and to my surprise it does indeed have the rated capacity, or more exactly 5,975mAh, as measured with my SkyRC MC3000 charger. The battery pack has a production date of Sept/2017 which is awesome.**Now, let's go with the not so good details:**-Misleading 20W rating, the unit draws less than 15W in high mode. The output is very good though and compared to other floodlights it produces around 1,000 lumens, but not 1,700lm.-When running in high mode, the output starts to drop as soon as you turn it on. It doesn't even hold the brightness for let's say, 5 minutes. There is a steady drop for the 15 minutes from initial 100% to about 60%, and in the next 45 minutes another drop to about 25%. I only measured the first 2.5 hours, but after that nothing happens either, it just keeps dropping until battery depletion. See picture of runtime test attached-This is NOT because the battery is running out. At any time if I shut it down and start again in high mode, it will go back to the initial brightness and start to drop again. This output drop is programmed in the driver. After dropping to 20% it will last for another 5 hours.Basically you can have this bright light to illuminate whatever you're working on, but the unit itself decides that it will only give you that light for a couple minutes before dropping to 25% of that. There is no point in making this thing so bright if you have to manually restart the unit every 15 minutes. The manufacturer would probably tell you this output drop is to protect the unit from overheating, but let me tell you this, the front aluminum plate is large and thick enough to deal with the heat of a 10W LED emitter, and even after restarting the unit several times to maintain the output it did not get hot at all, just a tad warm.So here you go, a near perfect worklight with amazing build quality and long lasting battery, limited by a mediocre driver, making this "worklight" unsuitable for any actual work. If LE fixes this issue I would gladly give it a 5 star rating.

A 20 watt LED makes a great deal of light
I take a lot of camping trips each year and I am always looking for new new things to make the trips more enjoyable. I took a chance on this light (the 20 watt version), and I was surprised at how well it worked. A 20 watt LED makes a great deal of light, especially when your are camping and everything is in complete darkness. But what surprised me most was that it does't focus the light as a flash light does. Instead, the light is evenly spread across everything in front of it.The build quality appears to be good, and it's splash proof. There is a sealed door that covers the USB port.I was also able to use it to charge my phone, so I no longer need to bring a separate external battery when I go camping. The specifications state that the light will last 3-4 hours on high, and 6 to 7 hours on low. But I can't verify that because I didn't use it for that long. The only down side is that it that it's probably too heavy for backpacking trips. But it's perfect for car camping.

Verified 6000mAh inside, but not quite as bright as CAT 1100 lumen version. Handle is also Aluminum
Not as bright as the CAT branded version (Costco) with just a single 1100 Lumen LED, but nice to have the softer diffused ring light option for working up close. I opened it up, and there are (3x) 18650s, so I believe the 6000mAh rating. There is not much empty space inside, I feel like it is pretty well engineered. The front of the light is aluminum, as is the handle. I tapped some holes in the aluminum handle and attached a magnet 25lb magnet which is plenty to hold it in any position (hanging or cantilevered). Seems to be built pretty solid, all screws thread into metal. It is bright, though I don't believe it is actually 20 watts /1700 lumen; still very bright and the best option I can find in a USB work lamp. I plan to buy more, even though it is not as bright as the CAT version, I like that this can charge of standard USB, and has two work light options.

Brightest light I’ve ever had
Love this light. I bought it thinking it would be good for our cottage. We went to Panama and stayed at an Airbnb that had been hit by lightening so the solar power wasn’t fully functioning. We were on a mangrove island in the middle of the ocean and had no light. This light lit up our entire bungalow and saved us from complete darkness after sunset! We took a boat taxi in to town and used it to guide the taxi driver to our bungalow. He was amazed at how bright it was. Love that it can stand or hang. I would recommend it

So Far So Good
Bought 2. The units arrived without issue and seem pretty well built. After an overnight charge I started testing them. The light is pretty bright and close to daylight in color. The beam is round for those wondering. good for the cost.I bought them primarily for doing video work so we will see how it works out. I might but another 4 - 6 more for side lighting in a workshop I am building to use for auto repair/restoration. Mounted to the walls yet movable as needed.

Great rechargeable LED work light
One of the best rechargeable LED work lights out for the money. Very bright on high setting. Very good design to provide easy recharge with mini usb cord. Takes a little longer but worth it to not deal with separate plug in wall chargers. Light is easy to handle, set up or carry from place to place. Would be neat to have a carrying case for protection if stored in car, etc. Milwaukee case 48-55-0170 is small and fits light perfectly for a nice compact stored product package. Time will tell how long batteries that are internal will last but so far no problems at all.

You need this light it is the best one.
This light is amazing! I bought this light for camping and it is a beast! The battery last forever it seems it holds a charge well. The ability to charge your cell phone off it is a great feature. We used the light a lot hung up in the middle of our tent at night dining down. The only room for improvement would be more levels of light control. Add one more mod and this would be the ultimate brick light! Good job makers!!! I will be buying another one.

Gute Leistung, guter Preis
Die Batterie hält 8 Stunden durch, Staub, Kälte, Feuchtigkeit, Wüstensand sind kein Problem. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Buon prodotto
