I bought this for my son & he loved it

Good train took while to arrive

Nice product but sadly damaged boxing was found. This upset me because I intended to keep it in box and sell it when it became discontinued. This is an outrage because now it has little to no value and it should have been stated that the box was damaged.

The photo is out of date and needs changing I wanted the old style Edward not the new style so change the photo

Edward the blue engine was introduced as the first character in the Railway series in the book the three Railway engines published in 1945. In 1984, Edward appeared in the Thomas and friends television series in the first season, episode 2: Edward and Gordon. Since the show has launched, Edward has continued to be a classic as being one of the first engines introduced in the series. Edward is a kind blue engine who always wants to help his friends. This model of Edward represents his railway series counterpart perfectly as he is slight wider and his tender is a bit bigger than the television series model. It runs very nice and smooth on my tomy blue track and even though I'm reaching my 20s, Thomas and his friends will always be near and dear to my heart. Although shipping was a while, it was totally worth it. I absolutely love the detail. I just really wish these were sold in stores in the U.S. But that's why we have Amazon! Anyways it's a great model, I highly recommend this to all train lovers and Thomas fans. Whoever decides to purchase this item, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do
