Hi, Yes, providing the tooling is sharp it will turn quite nicely. You will however expose trapped air from within the mix and have pitting marks. (unless your quick enough to cast under pressure) Regards Ryan

Can you use this for making coasters?

its certaily a possibility , however the heat of cups may effect the resin and leave marks over time.
