This product is generally a very healthy blend for houseplants. Since houseplants aren't growing in a natural environment, the enriched soil improves air permeability, promotes greater air circulation, and prevents the growth of weeds and soil lice. It's a premium-quality product, and I'm very impressed with its contribution to the healthy growth of my plants. My indoor plants thrive with these natural products. I use this product in all my pots, except for some specific types that require special care and soil mixes. I also provided the minerals necessary for the plant with this product.

Perfect blend for healthy indoor plants
I’ve recently started expanding my collection of houseplants and picked up this Houseplant Potting Mix enriched with Seramis, and it’s quickly become my go-to for repotting everything from pothos and spider plants to monsteras and alocasias. It’s clearly designed with indoor plants in mind, and you can see the difference in growth and root health within just a couple of weeks. The texture of the mix is what stands out immediately — it’s light, airy, and well-draining, which is exactly what you want for houseplants that are prone to root rot in heavy soils. The inclusion of Seramis granules really boosts its performance. These tiny clay granules help regulate moisture, soaking up excess water and releasing it as needed — perfect for plants that don’t like constantly wet feet. I used it to repot a few rootbound plants that had outgrown their containers, and they took to it straight away. The soil holds its structure well and doesn't compact over time, which is especially useful for pots without tons of drainage. My calathea, which is usually fussy, seems to love it and has sprouted two new leaves within a fortnight. The mix is peat-free, which is a huge bonus from a sustainability standpoint, and it's ready to use straight from the bag — no need to add extra grit or perlite unless you’re tailoring it to specific plants like cacti or succulents. It’s also clean and low-dust, which makes indoor use much tidier. The bag reseals well and is made from durable material, so you can store the leftover mix without it drying out or spilling everywhere. One thing to note: this isn’t a "one-size-fits-all" compost for every plant. Succulents and orchids, for instance, still need a grittier or more specialised mix. But for general houseplants, it’s hard to beat. Overall, this is an excellent potting mix that promotes healthy roots, balanced moisture, and strong top growth. It’s made repotting easier and more successful, and the difference is noticeable. Highly recommended for all indoor plant lovers!

Soil good - bugs not
Soil was good and the plants seemed to like it, however within 2 days my house was full of tiny black flies. I was a bit puzzled where they had suddenly come from…… until I saw them on the surface of the compost of every plant I’d repotted. The plants who hadn’t had their compost changed were not affected. I’d only used one bag as I was planning to finish repotting the following weekend - the remaining bag was poured into pots outside….the birds can have a feast on the flies.

Good sized bag
Bought before as I like the fact its great for repotting my house plants & bags light weight. It can be a faff mixing it with water but as it swells and gets to consistency needed I think its great value. My house plants thrive & also unlike other compost mixtures there's no pesky gnats included as an unwanted extra.
