I have very typical degenerative disc problems and often will get bulging (or worse) disc issues. For about a year it can cause a pinched nerve feeling down my right hip. For reference, I am 68 nearing 69, 5’2” and weight about 115. I am a side sleeper and put a special pillow between my legs. We recently bought a great adjustable bed with a local factory—custom made coil firm pillow top mattresses. Split king. I love the bed and mattress. I wanted more softnesses on top because of this back problem so I tried a few tops in addition which helped a bit but not as much as this one. I bought the 2” topper. I can’t go too soft. That makes matters worse if I am having real pain. I have to say this is just perfect. It doesn’t sink to nothing when I lie down on it. It is a bit firm yet conforms to me and really helps when my back and that hip is particularly tender. Just soft enough and yet firm enough. Of course this is a completely subjective review-but I will give you a sense of it if I can. When I have ruptured discs, the pain is off the charts. I had childbirth in Army hospitals, they gave you nothing but Tylenol—I’d take childbirth over this pain (at its worst) any day. I rarely get to that level thank heavens, but I can aggravate it and sometimes even touching my hip (the pain will shoot down my hip)—it’s a dull throbbing—can make me lose sleep. I can’t take NSAIDS - the only thing I am supposed to take is Extra Strength Tylenol. I will sneak an Extra Strength Excedrin but due to stomach issues am not advised to by my doctor. Resting, lying down and keeping my spine aligned usually helps towards healing. This topper helps me get comfortable for example -when I did too much unloading our RV after a recent trip. Just a lovely almost floating feeling. The other thing is—no odor when I opened it. I have been doing memory foam since before anyone knew what it was. I don’t even mind the off-gassing. The fact is, there wasn’t any with my topper. I opened it in the spare bedroom and it went from flat as paper to it’s full two inches in a few hours and I couldn’t smell anything even though I left it in that room for over 48 hours. I am very, very happy with my purchase. Happy with the cover, density of the foam and quite surprised by no smells. Great price too!

I've seen reviews that this thing won't expand to it's intended 2 inches, or at all for that matter. I witnessed that as well. But I really didn't want to return this item. So I dinked with it. You gotta stretch it a bit- GENTLY- bc it will rip between the holes on the surface. Not it's fault, I was over zealous :P It's really separating itself from itsself so it can let in the air. It's a bit like moon sand when it's that compressed. After it takes it's air, it doesn't stick to itself anymore. I had mine in sleeping order within an hour and it. is. so. COMFY! I don't even like memory foam because when it first came out years ago, it would hold the shape of my body indent. This does NOT do that! I have a bad back and huge bo@bs, so I can't sleep on my back, or my tummy, but when I laid down on my bed with this topper before bedtime, to check how it felt, just on my back... I was so comfortable I feel asleep right away! The lights were still on and everything 🤣. I only woke up because my daughter was like, "mom, what are you doing?!" I didn't put her to bed yet lol. I just wanted to try the topper after I made the bed. And I don't like the idea of a 'cooling' topper, but it's not what I thought..... I always wake up sweaty, always. And today, I didn't!!!! My bed was warm and snuggly comfy right when I got in and throughout the night but I didn't sweat like I usually do!!! AMAZING!!! And I usually wake up several times through the night, but I don't remember waking up once!!! I just realized that!! I am excited to go to the bed now... How awesome. Don't give up on it right away. This'd is an excellent deal! No weird smells either! Usually there's some kind of chemical smell with these kind of things, not this one. I didn't smell anything at all. You can stretch it but standing on one end and pulling gently on the other end. Just enough to separate itself from itself inside (I took the cover off). The corners need you to use your fingertips and pull the back away from the front, kinda thing. Gently and slowly. You can even hear it letting go of itself, then watch as it does that moonsand thing... You can see it expand right then. Looks cool. I didn't measure mine, just let it litter there a few minutes after releasing all the wrinkles and creases. Comfy!!! My daughter wanted me to order another one just for her to play on in the living room :p I actually rolled across it to avoid crawling when I was putting the cover back on (the zipper is missing the dangly part on all of them I think, on purpose. Just grab it with two fingers on front and back to zip/unzip) and also to make my daughter laugh) My big body did not hurt a bit doing those rolls. I anticipated my spine grinding on the floor underneath the topper since I'd just finished releasing the wrinkles, and I'd only had the thing in possession for an hour (I opened it immediately to give it the anticipated time of 48 hours to expand). After a half hour I checked on it, and it hadn't changed a bit. That's when I decided to dink with it. I recorded some video but don't know if I'll use it since I was huffing and puffing because I'm a fat 🤣. Jk. But I am 😁 I just realized!!! I didn't struggle to get out of bed either!!! I usually wake up wracked with pain!! (Bad back/prev surgeries and procedures). I'll have to pay attention better tomorrow, because that's A HUGE deal!! I'll update if I remember... Wow. So cool!

I bought this mattress topper hoping it would help with my back pain, and I’m so glad I did. It adds just the right amount of cushioning without feeling too soft, making my bed much more comfortable. I wake up feeling more supported and rested, and it has definitely made sleeping more enjoyable. It was easy to put on, stays in place, and feels like a great value for the price.

I bought this to put in my grandsons play yard because I was concerned about him possibly hitting his head on the floor during tummy time. This worked like a charm! He loves it and my daughter has peace knowing that he won’t hurt himself. It is very soft. Not too soft though and not too firm. I bout a full size so that it would fit. Now he did manager to pull a thread which was concerning so that’s why I gave it a four.

This was a life saver for reducing my lower back pain in the morning. Not only is it VERY comfortable, breathable, and fit my mattress perfectly; it molds to the curves of my body. For me this is helping support the curve of my spine which has reduced my lower back pain significantly in the morning. I have a perforated T5, S1 disc in my lower spine which means I'm always in some low level of pain. Prior to getting the topper I would wake up very stiff and with an extremely achy lower back. Once I got the topper my morning pain reduced significantly. This has really enhanced my comfort and my mornings routines for the better. I recommend it to everyone.

I bought this mattress topper for my son’s college dorm bed, and it made a huge difference. The memory foam is very soft and made the basic dorm mattress much more comfortable to sleep on. I also thought the price was excellent. It was significantly less expensive than many of the other Twin XL mattress toppers I looked at, but it still feels comfortable and good quality. If you’re shopping for a college dorm and don’t want to spend a fortune on a mattress topper, this is a great option. Very happy with the comfort and value!

Very comfortable. Thick and springs back to shape quickly. The fit is good supports my back well. It slides off the edge off the edge of the bed, i fell off the bed in my sleep a few nights after i got it. The elastic straps at the 4 corners are way too short. I cannot see the straps fitting any bed

Going into my junior year of college I knew I wanted to get a nose of mattress topper, and this was definitely a good choice. It’s very comfortable. It doesn’t have a scent or odor! It slips right on the bed and it stays. It’s very low maintenance and isn’t super bulky appearing. The durability has been great as well!

I have a problem about spring mattress because eventually it lowers and sinks in, resulting to q back paon. UNTIL I PURCHASE THIS. honestly, even this topper alone and a solid flat floor. My sleep was wonderful and less backache.

I purchased many memory foams for my bed. Some other ones that are 3 or 4 in you sink so far down it's hard to move. This 2-in memory foam is perfect and is on the firmer side. You don't sink down too deeply and it's easy to roll over. I'm definitely not as sore at night sleeping with this on my bed. Bonus it comes with a cover that hooks under the mattress so it does not move.
