Review: Excellent product - I already have 3 Deco M5 units and wanted another unit to extend the range. Product delivered quickly and was as described. Having read other reviews regarding the power lead I was expecting there to be an issue with this. The unit was supplied with a 2 pin power adapter, but the vendor had included a 2 pin to 3 pin plug in the box. Therefore no need to purchase a new power lead. Very impressed with this. Connected without a problem and works well. Would recommend.

**Q: Does this work with fios?**
A: Yes - our Deco M5 can be easily installed in either Router Mode or AP Mode to work efficiently with your existing FiOS Internet service. Please bear in mind if you currently have a FiOS modem, you'll most likely still need to use this modem in conjunction with the Deco M5 System. We recommend consulting with your ISP to verify whether your Internet service currently utilizes a modem for connectivity.

**Q: Is this the same model as the Deco W7200?**
A: Hi! Both the Deco X68 (2-Pack) and Deco W7200 (2-Pack) have the same technical specifications; however they are sold in separate marketplaces.

**Q: Do I need to buy extra hardware for this to work?**
A: This will work with your modem you will not need extra equipment. However I will caution you on using a second unit without  a ethernet cable connecting the 2 units. It will work but you will lose half your speed because half of it would go to communicating with the primary router. 
They make units that work wirelessly without that loss those are tri-band units, if you want to do it without wires I recommend one that has tri band and they plaster that marketing all over it. This will be true of any mesh Wi-Fi system that doesn't have at least tri band or a wire running between them.

**Q: Which 5ghz band is used for backhaul? 1802 mbps or 1201 mbps?**
A: 5GHz 2, the 1201 Mbps is the dedicated backhaul.  However, like our other tri-band Deco products if needed the system will use the other bands to send backhaul data as well.

The product itself is great. Does exactly what it says on the box. It has solved our wifi issue and was very easy to setup etc. My main reason for giving the lowest score possible is because of the seller, and not the product itself. We have used the Deco M9 and now the M5 for many things in the past but this was the first time that we had an issue with a power lead not coming in the box along with the device. We had no way to plug it in. I asked Amazon and the seller for help but all the seller would offer us was to return the item instead of just sending us the power cable. Thankfully, Amazon has supplied us with a third party power cable to get us going, but I was so disappointed in the seller who just simply didn’t seem to care. The least they could have done was refund us the £12.99 for a third party power lead.
