They have to be cleaned every single time they get worn or the gunk will pile up and get stuck to the shoe and you have to scrape it off. They also kind of smell if you don’t disinfect them every time you wear them. But they are cute and they are the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever bought in my life and I would totally buy them again. I didn’t get blisters once, the fit was great and they are extremely adjustable. If you have really, really narrow feet these may not be the best option for you. I have pretty narrow feet, but my sister‘s feet are more narrow, and she would not be able to wear these because the buckles do not tighten enough. For the average foot, this is a great shoe.
