Microwave-safe, soak proof, and cut resistant. desertcart Basics are the quality products you count on for all your everyday moments. Review: Solid, Sturdy Plates That Actually Hold Up - I grabbed these desertcart Basics paper plates after going through one too many flimsy off-brand packs that folded in half the second I loaded them with food. Big difference right away. I’ve used them for everyday dinners, weekend cookouts, and even a family get-together, and they handled everything from sandwiches to burgers and pasta without bending or leaking through. The soak-proof coating is the real win here. I’ve had barbecue sauce and juicy burgers sit on these for a while and the plate stayed firm underneath, no soggy bottom falling apart in my hand. Speaking of hands, you can genuinely pick one up loaded with food and walk across the room without it caving. That one-handed test is where cheaper plates always fail me, and these passed easily. Size-wise, at 8.62 inches they’re a touch smaller than a standard dinner plate, so if you’re piling on a big holiday spread you might want something larger. But for regular meals, snacks, or lighter portions, the size is honestly convenient. Smaller plate, smaller portions, and I didn’t mind that trade-off at all. They’re microwave-safe too, which matters more than people think. I’ve reheated leftovers directly on these without any warping or weird smell. At 100 count, the pack lasts a long time even with daily use, and the price per plate ends up being really low. I’ve repurchased this exact pack more than once because the quality never changed batch to batch. For the cost, you’re not going to find a more dependable disposable plate. Cleanup is a two-second toss in the trash, which is exactly what you want from paper plates. Easy recommend if you go through disposable plates regularly. Review: Sturdy, Convenient, and Perfect for Everyday Meals - These desertcart Basics Everyday Disposable Paper Plates are a great value for daily use. The 8.62-inch size is perfect for snacks, lunches, desserts, and lighter meals, making them a practical option for busy households. I was impressed by how durable they are. The plates are cut-resistant and hold up well with a variety of foods without bending or becoming soggy. Even foods with sauces or moisture stayed contained, thanks to the soak-proof design. Another feature I appreciate is that they're microwave-safe, making it easy to reheat leftovers without transferring food to another dish. Cleanup is quick and effortless, which is especially helpful after family meals, parties, or gatherings. The large pack provides excellent value and lasts a long time. The round 8.62 inch shape is a useful size for everyday meals, snacks, or a picnic. Their shallow depth makes sense for a plate rather than serving something like soup. The soak-proof, cut-resistant design is intended to provide sturdiness, and supporting a loaded plate underneath helps with stability. Cut resistance isn't the same as being scratch-proof, but it's a useful feature for disposable tableware. Microwave compatibility adds to their versatility. ## Frequently Bought Together - Amazon Basics Everyday Paper Plates, 8.62 Inch, Disposable, 100 Count - Amazon Basics Everyday Paper Bowls, 10 Oz, Disposable, 70 Count, White - Amazon Basics Ultra Paper Bowls, 20 Oz, Disposable, 50 Count, White (1 pack of 50) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/530693413-amazon-basics-everyday-disposable-paper-plates-8-62-inch-microwave](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/530693413-amazon-basics-everyday-disposable-paper-plates-8-62-inch-microwave) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
