Everything was fine , laptop is pretty good for its price. Has 0 problems with cooling , my advice is to get a stand for it so it can get enough airflow . The only thing that wasn’t perfect is the packaging . Had few scratches on the outside , but the laptop its self was fine. A bit noisy when in turbo mode . Gaming is smooth. Fast and cool looking laptop . Perfect for travelling while having fast laptop . Battery is fine in eco mode .

Overall, this is really the best price for this setting. 2K screen, aluminium, rtx4070 etc. Fans are perfect, you can press a button and select “mode” for your laptop. Very useful. BUT. Touchpad wasn’t working in my laptop. This is ridiculous! I brought my laptop to technic master and the problem was in cable which wasn’t connected. Also assembly are really good, but why they did such a big mistake in assembly. Tech support wasn’t great, the advice me to “google problem” or gave advice such as: press f10 to turn on touchpad, may be this ok but I have explained everything in my first message (I can add a script with dialogue). Summary: I totally recommend you to buy this laptop. I am AI engineer and I like this enough powerful laptop in this size. Be ready to small problems like I had. Thanks a lot.

I have built several of my own desktop PC's but needed something for travel so I bought this laptop on Prime day at a fantastic deal. The Triton 14 has great specs for what I was looking for so I was excited to receive this laptop. The laptop came undamaged in perfect new condition so there were no external factors that caused issues. I get the laptop set up - install windows, etc. and the laptop automatically downloads third party Acer and "Predator Sense" software. I understand many laptops come with these kinds of software so it was not unexpected. The biggest issues with the laptop is the crashing/randomly turning off, the USELESS Predator Sense software, and that the device manager does not even detect the 4070 graphics card so you cannot download the NVIDIA geforce drivers, forcing you to use the Intel integrated graphics. Predator Sense is a 3rd party software app that allows you to customize certain settings such as the lighting on the keyboard and also manages settings like the turbo overclocking mode. The Predator Sense software also brings in a plethora of issues: -Backlit keyboard not working properly: the lighting does not work with the Windows dynamic lighting settings. To fix, you need to turn off Windows dynamic lighting and then go in the task manager and prioritize the Predator Sense and Acer lighting software. Even after doing this, the Predator Sense software is so buggy you cannot fully customize the lighting. -Issues with Turbo mode only working on Administrator profiles or not overclocking the GPU - oh wait, the laptop couldn't even detect a GPU! -Regardless of what anyone says, Predator Sense does run in the background and can impact performance. -Predator Sense sometimes showing blank tabs and screens while using the app, which you have to uninstall the software and go to the Acer website and reinstall an OLD version of the software to fix. Those are just some of the issues with Predator Sense. My laptop randomly crashed 3 times and turned off while using it on 70% and on full battery just browsing the Firefox browser, and would not turn on via the power button unless it was plugged into the charger. Even then, booting up the laptop after it turns off is a bit slow and makes it hard to believe that the laptop has a 1TB SSD. Naturally, after my laptop crashed the first 2 times I thought it was caused by Predator Sense, so I uninstalled the software and the laptop still worked fine without it. But after the laptop crashed for a 3rd time even after Predator Sense was uninstalled, I made up my mind to return the product. Save yourself some time and do not buy this laptop if you are a gamer or graphics designer! You will waste so much time setting up this laptop only to come across a bunch of issues that make you wish you never bought it in the first place.

Al precio de promoción que adquirí esta belleza de maquina nada que objetar, pantalla LED, 4070rtx, material de alumino, buen software para el manejo de los niveles de energía, buen soporte técnico que permite atención en otros paises si estás de viaje, entiendo que en un tamaño de 14 pulgadas es complicado tener espacio para poder upgradear, para cuando los 32GB sean un estandar probablemente ya hayan pasado varios años y estés buscando una nueva renovación, hasta ese entonces esta máquina tranquilamente debe cumplir y superar tus expectactivas. El Cyberpunk es una belleza jugarlo a 2k con RT y varios efectos en ultra-altos todo a más de 60fps, el dlss y path traycing es una maravilla.

Nice features with great design but need more ports.

The laptop has some high end features like micro LED screen and customizable RGB keyboard. It does get hot and loud. This was a gift but I ended up keeping it for myself and bought the 4060 oled legion slim 5 14.5 inch for $1k as a gift. Honestly, I prefer the legion slim. Oled is way nicer than microled and 4060/4070 have no noticable difference in performance but the legion runs with much lower temps and noise. I enjoy both laptops. Never buy a laptop at full price when they regularly have 30% off sales.

Very well made and it looks very good but is it worth the price? On low settings any game I played always lagged. It appears to start lagging after it starts heating up. It gets extremely hot during game play. My suggestion is it is very good for simply operations but games like call of duty is not one of them.

una buena compra por el precio, la pantalla luce muy bien, el mini LED 10/10 el teclado retroiluminado perfecto, puertos okay el thunderbolt ayuda mucho, aun que le haría bien otro usb c adicional. el lector de huellas funciona muy bien, los modos de energía que tiene tiene esta laptop ayudan mucho, solo que si quieres jugar tienes que tenerla conectada, si no, ocupa los gráficos del procesador y no de la dedicada. la bacteria es regular, no es perfecta pero para juegos si necesita estar conectada, si lo que quieres es ver videos o tareas la bateria dura alrededor de 5 hras.
