Unecesarily Expensive, Obnoxious Software, Stupid RGB, but dang is the Sound TERRIFIC
These speakers are undoubtedly overpriced. The premium brand tax you are paying for these is borderline egregious. However, if you can stomach the price, they truly are great sounding speakers. Yes the Razer software is an obnoxious pain, and the software is essentially mandatory because out of the box the speakers sound flat and are in desperate need of an EQ adjustment. Yes the RGB lighting is a total gimmick and quite honestly is an obnoxious distraction more often than not, especially in a dark room where the pulsating light becomes a distraction. But where its most important, the Sound, these speakers are absolutely tremendous. Got them as a gift for my wife and the Bass is really heavy in a good way. You get great, deep bass notes without any shaking/rattling (at least on carpet). The speakers themselves are full ranged and have great sound at all volumes. There are no sacrifices here, High, Mid and Low range all sound great. It is immediately obvious that these speakers are a class above the vast majority of what's available on the market. Playing Rocksmith on the PC with these speakers legitimately sounds better than a lot of cheaper amps. Movies and games sound terrific, sound effects and music are clear and crisp feel like they have real weight to them. These speakers really should come without RGB, with Hardware controls or direct integration into windows instead of the Razer software ecosystem garbage, and cost $75 less. They would easily be one of the best speaker setups on the market, if not the best, if they ditched the unnecessary frills and were priced more appropriately. But if you find these speakers on sale and can stomach the RGB/Razer Software, or if you only care about sound quality for playing music/movies/rockband, you really can't go wrong with these speaker. Normally the RGB/software stuff would drive me crazy, but the sound really is terrific, so much so that I am willing to look past the other issues. In a perfect world, someone other than Razer would make this set so that you could just buy a quality set of speakers at a reasonable price without the nonsense Razer BS. But all things considered, you most likely won't regret this purchase, the sound you get out of these speakers is shockingly good.

HUGE speakers, but excellent sound
First the elephant in the room... they're huge. the speakers, the bass... huge. More than twice as big as i expected. If that's important to you, you might want to examine it closely. Second.... the sound is beautiful. The bass really booms, the speakers are crisp and clear. THX Spatial is all that. Well worth the investment if you have the money for it since they're not exactly cheap. It took me half a day to get the software worked out... it's a bit fussy. I've only had it a day but I'm happy with my purchase.

Regret not buying these sooner!
I’ve gone through a number of speaker setups for my computer including more expensive setups, but THIS is the best so far. Sounds amazing when watching movies. I WFH, so I can double click the power to switch to Bluetooth mode and stream music from my phone. There are some important things to know though… 1) These are Bluetooth, but still require a cable (sort of). A USB-C cable has to plug into your PC for these to be setup. You can then use Bluetooth on other devices, but your computer needs a cable. It’s odd, I know. 2) Set an EQ profile up! The factory profile is very flat. Choosing almost any other default profile will be a game changer. Once you set it, all devices will use that profile. 3) Customize RGB in Razer Synapse app (which is required for setup also). The flashing bright lights are annoying. You can pick a default color and dim them or turn RGB lights off entirely and any time you power them on, it’ll use that setting regardless of device. 4) Somehow, PS5 won’t recognize them which doesn’t make sense to me. I wish I could figure that out. This is my only real gripe. 5) Depending on EQ profile it may sound great for music or movies, but if you watch YouTube the bass of someone’s voice talking might sound… bad. I usually deal with it, but you could swap EQ profiles around for optimal sound quality for all media.

Don't listen to the negative reviews
I never leave reviews but I almost didn't buy this because of the negative reviews. I experienced NONE of what the bad reviews are saying. My response to downsides mentioned in reviews: 1. Speakers always powering off - this would have been a dealbreaker for me... but in Razer Synapse (the software to control it), there's a very easy/clear setting for this (see screenshot). Not an issue at all. Maybe the software didn't have this option on release but it's not a factor anymore. 2. Razer Synapse being difficult - I already have a Razer keyboard/mouse so I had the software installed. I simply plugged in my new speakers and Synapse recognized it then a new option appeared with all the settings. Literally plug and play. I've never had problems with Synapse, didn't have to manually download or configure or troubleshoot anything. And love that it's all in the same program as my mouse/keyboard settings. Positives - sounds great, the lighting adjusting with my game is fun, EQ options are available in Synapse and all I need, different profiles for different games is cool, THX Spatial Audio is neat. The only mild downside is that when I tab in and out of games, it like thinks for a second about what sound profile it's going to use and you hear it sound different for a second. If you are locked in and not constantly tabbing, it's a non-issue. But overall would recommend, wish I had ignored the bad reviews and bought sooner.

Nice speakers A+
Big, booming sound for both games and music. The speakers were larger than I expected when ordering, but they look really cool and sound great. They feel well-made, and I like the lighting on the back, which can be controlled with Razer software on your computer. I’d recommend these to anyone looking for great-sounding computer speakers.

Impressed
These speakers have been in my cart for over 6 months I was hesitant to purchase them because of the price and mixed reviews. I have to say the speakers themselves blew me away! The sound they generate is amazing!! I wish I could get a sound bar to sound this good for my TV. With my volume on 20 it fills the room, 30-40 it fills my 2br apartment, and at 100 you can hear it outside my apartment as if u was standing next to it. I’m very pleased and impressed with these speaks only regret is not getting them sooner.

Great sound quality.
As in title, the sound quality is fantastic, and they are solid speakers. They do, however have some quirks that may be a dealbreaker for some: -They run under their own power. By which I mean they do not turn on and off with the computer. You have to manually turn them on or off. -Windows 11 doesn't like to remember that they are set to the default audio. Everytime i boot up, or go idle, i have to reset them to default audio. I don't know if this is due to Windows, the Razer software, or my particular system. -The speakers themselves turn off after a certain amount of idle time. This is not limited to when the screen saver kicks in. It happens whenever you aren't using audio for a time. Example: if you're surfing the web and not listening to any audio, they will shut off after th3 allotted time. It can be rather annoying, particularly when once they shut off, I have to once again go into my sound settings and tell it, yes, these speakers exist, and are my audio device. -The Razer software is notoriously finicky and unreliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it connects to your devices sometimes it doesn't. Mind you, this is on a high-end system with lots of ram. Also, I have them USB hardwired, so it's not a Bluetooth issue. As I said, they have fantastic, rich sound; particularly with the THX sound. If you can get it to work properly. If my review were based on sound alone, it would be five stars. If i weren't accounting for sound quality, it would be no more than 2 stars for the connectivity and reliability issues. Like many Razer products, I feel that they are bit overpriced because of that. As an aside: the control device that is purportedly designed for these speakers is an overpriced button that doesn't even button well. But that's a different review for a different product. Hope this helps!

Razer Nommo V2 sounds amazing
I've tried both "Razer Nommo V2 X" and "Razer Nommo V2", let me just say that they sound completely different. My advice is don't buy the "Razer Nommo V2 X" thinking to save money or that it'll be "good enough", it just doesn't have that deep bass, so the overall sound seems limited and anemic in comparison. The Razer Nommo V2 sounds amazing, backed by a 10 channel-equalizer and bass control in the Synapse software to get the sound you want. As for the THX Spatial Audio, I think that's mostly marketing. The normal stereo mode sounds "full" and preferable, I don't think the Spatial mode makes things sound like they are actually coming from behind you (even when testing with the THX Spatial samples on youtube), it's just weird and spacey. So bottom line; If you're adding to or upgrading your Razer setup, get the 2.1 system, there'll be RGB splashing all over your wall too. As a comparison if you want just the speaker pair (instead of the Nommo X), the Bose Companion does emit a fuller base. 4/5 based on amazing sound and seamless fit with the Razer ecosystem, however there is no AUX port and these are a little on the pricier side.

Very complicated system to set up
Very complicated to set up. It’s been 2 weeks with support to allow my system to do a firmware update on the speakers and still unable to do so. Unit is very complicated to switch from Bluetooth to computer mode I had to buy the pod.

Brand Tax / Nothing too Special / Beauty & The Beast
This is a tough one to rate. I was a razer fan since I was 10 and I literally have insane loyalty to them. I only buy razer and to be honest, they are not that bad and not that good ESPECIALLY with the original price which is NOT worth at all. I bought it on sale for $250 and I feel like it gets the job done. Nothing too special about it. It's certainly very beautiful and it came in a very good box. Overall if you are a fan of razer, it won't disappoint but if you are not, don't expect it to blow your mind. Don't be buying this for music too. This is a gaming speaker designed for explosions and deep thump. If you can bare the brand tax, by all means go ahead and buy it. If you are looking for better alternatives, there are better speakers with this value out there. Ask multiple AIs and they will guide you.
