For those saying this does not work. Clearly think it is some magic item to turn your teeth white with no effort. 1. Use once in the morning and before bed. 2. Brush your teeth twice a day and if you can, in between meals too. 3. Buy a water pick if you are not a fan of flossing incase it hurts the gum. 4. Do all of these things and your teeth get whiter and whiter over the days. It requires effort. Think of it like vitamin supplements, they do not replace meals. They work well WITH a routine. Quality product, noticed a difference after 2days.

I've tried the product, and whilst it will whiten the teeth a little bit, 2.5ml is useless. Its not enough given the price of the product. Its too easy for the pen to dry up, and why is it even a pen used ? Well to hide the quantity, that is why. Not worth buying. Its a con, and I would expect a manufacturer with such a name to do better for customers. Clicking a pen, to release a drop of product, its a con. The pen should be filled, what you'll get inside, is a spring applicator and a piece of plastic that dispenses a tiny drop of liquid through a tiny tube. You are paying for an overpriced light source, gum shield, and plastic pen design. Sad to say, Colgate you have failed with this product.

Was sceptical at first as I did loads of research into teeth whitening products. At first I was disappointed, as for £50 it was only the teeth whitening serum and the light in the box. No Colgate toothpaste included! I've been using it for a week so far and can see the results, which lifted my spirits, as I'm a regular coffee drinker, ex smoker and have always had staining. I'm really happy with the results and will take another progress picture at week 2. If you are yet to buy this product, note that it's difficult to get the serum on the bottom teeth unless you tilt your head back during the application, as keeping your mouth open will make you salivate a lot and it will pool around the bottom of your mouth, and if you get saliva on the brush it will harden the serum. I wish it said this in the instructions.

I'm not sure if this product has whitened my teeth a huge amount or not. If you seriously want it to work, I would say that you shouldn't drink any tea or coffee for 2 weeks. Do this whitening every day, twice a day, for 2 weeks, use the serum generously, literally paint it on to each tooth. Before you start, I recommend cutting a cotton wool pad into 3 strips. Put one on your top gums, one on the bottom and dry your teeth with the third before applying serum. Otherwise saliva gets in the way of it working nicely. The serum will paint 5 teeth before you need to dip it back into the holder for more. Let it dry on your teeth for 20 seconds then blast your teeth with LED light. I'm giving this product 5 stars because I really enjoy using it and I think it has worked. It's a much better deal than the dentist who wants £275.00 and you still can't drink tea or coffee, even when it's done professionally so I'll take the Colgate Max Kit, thanks.

Stopped working after a few days - uv light wouldn’t work

Amazing I am so pleased I bought this, after years of no dentist my teeth were very stained, after finally getting to see a dentist and having them fixed I wanted to whiten my teeth and boost my confidence and it worked my teeth are now so much whiter I can smile again So easy to use and no dribbling, I roll up á small cotton wool pad on my upper jaw between lips and teeth so my teeth stay dry then I can apply the pen which drys in seconds The lead plugs into your smartphone phone (2 adapters supplied ) it beeps after 5 minutes then again on the 10th minute so easy to use. Amazing results!! I was quite impressed I used it overnight first as my teeth were quite stained then I just use it for 10 minutes twice a week (I have a false front tooth I don’t paint that one ) I’m a black coffee and red wine drinker so definitely very impressed with my results

·•★ Lieferumfang ★•· 1 LED-Schiene 1 Lightning Adapter 1 Whitening Serum 1 Anleitung Wen Infos zu Inhaltsstoffen, etc. nicht interessieren, kann gleich zum Abschnitt "Praxistauglichkeit" springen. ·•★ Über das Produkt allgemein + Tipps ★•· Colgate bietet hier ein Set zur Zahnaufhellung Zuhause an. Jetzt muss man allerdings zunächst einmal wissen, dass eine bestimmte Zahnfärbung schon natürlich ist und diese sich nicht unbedingt korrigieren lässt. Wer allerdings Verfärbungen durch Rauchen, Tee- und Kaffeekonsum hat, dem könnte eine Aufhellung durchaus helfen. Dieses Set enthält einen Whitening-Stift mit einem Serum. Der Wirkstoff in dem Serum ist Wasserstoffperoxid. In frei verkäuflichen Seren dürfen max. 0,1% enthalten sein, was auch hier der Fall ist. Zahnärzte hingegen setzen bis zu 6%ige Seren ein. Daher sollte klar sein, dass es nicht vergleichbar ist mit einer Behandlung beim Zahnarzt. Worauf hier auch nicht hingewiesen wird, ist dass es empfehlenswert ist, vorher die Zähne professionell reinigen zu lassen und insbesondere im Behandlungszeitraum die Zähne wirklich ganz besonders gut zu pflegen (2x 3 min. Putzen + Zahnseide & Mundspülung), damit der Wirkstoff auch etwas ausrichten kann. Enthalten sind außerdem noch Benzoesäure, die antibakteriell wirkt, Alkohol, Wasser und ein Polymer. Also das gleiche wie der Overnight Whitening Stift, den man auch als Refill nutzen kann. Zur Verwendung trägt man das Serum auf die gereinigten und getrockneten Zähne auf, lässt das Serum trocknen und setzt sich für 10 Minuten die eingeschaltete LED-Schiene auf die Zähne. Es gibt nach 5 min. ein akkustisches Signal und wenn es nach 10 min fertig ist, erneut ein akkustisches Signal. Danach werden die Zähne mit Wasser geputzt und man soll anschließend 30 min nicht Essen und Trinken. Das Ganze kann 2x täglich für 14 Tage angewendet werden. Das Serum reicht dabei für 35 Anwendungen. Also für 14 Tage und ein paar Nachbehandlungen, die dann nach Bedarf erfolgen können. Generell sollte man Kaffee, Tee und Nikotin während einer Behandlungsreihe sowieso meiden, um bessere Ergebnisse zu erzielen. ·•★ Praxistauglichkeit ★•· In der praktischen Anwendung ist das Ganze etwas umständlich handzuhaben. Man muss wirklich jeden Zahn einzeln "anmalen". Kronen können nicht aufgehellt werden, weshalb man diese auslassen sollte. Wichtig ist auch, dass alles wirklich richtig trocken ist, sonst kann das Serum schon an der Pinselspitze klumpen. Das Serum bildet einen harten Film auf den Zähnen, der sich unangenehm anfühlt und den man nach Abschluss der Aufhellung dann gründlich runterputzen muss, was mitunter anstrengend sein kann und wenn man es nicht gründlich macht, hat man am nächsten Morgen weiße Flecken auf den Zähnen. Außerdem brennt es leicht am Zahnfleisch. Man sollte daher den Kontakt vermeiden. ·•★ Ergebnis ★•· Leichte Verfärbungen, die bei mir durch in den letzten Wochen und Monaten häufigeren Kaffeekonsum zurückzuführen waren, konnten gemildert werden. Ansonsten ist nicht viel zu sehen, was aber eben darauf zurückzuführen ist, dass meine natürliche Zahnfarbe schon nicht reinweiß ist. Verfärbungen durch Getränke wurden aber tatsächlich aufgehellt. Das Versprechen an sich wird eingehalten. Man sollte sich vorher klar machen, ob man überhaupt aufhellbare Verfärbungen hat. ·•★ Preis/ Leistung ★•· Mit 99€ kostet dieses Set etwa 1/4 von dem, was man beim Zahnarzt bezahlt. Was die Anwendung leistet ist aber nicht ansatzweise 1/4 von dem, was ein Arzt leistet. Auch wenn man bedenkt, dass der Pen, der den Wirkstoff enthält nur 20% des Preises ausmacht, erkennt man dass der Preis schon extrem ist. Die LED-Schiene ist einfach überteuert. Daher finde ich das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis hier ziemlich schlecht. ·•★ Fazit ★•· Der Effekt ist bei mir insgesamt nicht besonders stark, obwohl man 14 Tage lang wirklich viel Arbeit damit hat. Teuer ist das Set zudem auch noch. Für meinen Geschmack zu teuer. Insgesamt kann man - sofern man aufhellbare Verfärbungen hat - mit dem Set schon etwas erreichen. Für den Preis finde ich das Ergebnis allerdings bescheiden. Daher gibt es von mir neutrale 3 Sterne. Zu teuer, zu aufwendig, zu wenig Effekt.
