I recently purchased the Alexa Light Bulbs, 100W Equivalent, with Bluetooth Smart capabilities and I am thoroughly impressed! Setting up was a breeze right out of the box, as they quickly paired with my existing Alexa setup without any hiccups. The ability to control the bulbs through voice commands is a game-changer for me. The range of colors is absolutely stunning—16 million RGB colors along with a warm white option. Whether I’m in the mood for a calming blue to relax, a bright red for some energy, or just a warm white for reading, these bulbs deliver with just a few words to Alexa. The colors are rich and the transitions between hues are smooth, not to mention the brightness is perfect for any time of the day or night. I also appreciate the smart features like scheduling, which allows me to set the lights to automatically adjust based on the time of day or my routine, adding a lot to my daily convenience. The app is intuitive and makes it easy to customize settings for individual or groups of bulbs. In conclusion, if you’re looking to enhance your home lighting with smart, colorful options, these bulbs are definitely worth it. They have transformed my home atmosphere, making it more vibrant and responsive to my lifestyle. Highly recommend!

So easy to use and set up, connects with Alexa in seconds, very responsive and immediately turns on and off when you press the button, unlike some other brands where it takes a few seconds after pressing the button to turn on and off. Great value for money, really good quality. Only downside is the rhythm function is horrible, it doesn't work well, it just kind of stutters between different colours with no actual sense of rhythm.

Absolutely outstanding. For a quarter of the price of the similar Phillips Hue product you get exactly the same functionality. Very easy to set up with Alexa and works perfectly. Can’t recommend highly enough

Good and easy to connect

The lamps are controlled via a mobile phone 'app' on a phone that has 'BlueTooth' features. There is no separate controller supplied with the lamps. Each lamp contains some white LEDs and some red, some green and some blue LEDs. As a white lamp it provides a useful amount of illumination. When used as a coloured lamp it is not very bright. To express that in different words, when used as a white lamp, the room was adequately lit. When used as a coloured lamp the room was uncomfortably dark. When operated as coloured lamp the lamp 'bulb' remained cool. When used as a white lamp I found that the 'bulb' became much warmer than I expected. The 'app' was fairly straight-forward to use and, as far as I could tell, didn't request access to the phone book or SMS or to other things that a light switch shouldn't need. Overall if you have a specific need for a lamp that can be controlled from your mobile phone, and that can have its colour changed then perhaps these are acceptable. I found them gimicky and removed them; they might end-up in the charity shop soon.
