PRO - A Leaf and Garden Grabber That's a Tool not a Toy.

Let me first say I have a yard with two sweet gum trees (the kind with the annoying prickly balls that feel like ball bearings under foot) and an oak tree. Suffice it to say I am no stranger to cleaning up branches, leaves and all manner of acorns and burrs. I have tried every solution under the sun to clean my yard efficiently, but only end up with a very sore back at the end of the day. This tool has made my life infinitely easier. They pick up a large amount of plant matter per scoop and can even get the dreaded burrs and acorn tops that litter my yard. Plus when not in use they stand up on their own, so you don’t have to bend over to get them or lean them up hoping they won’t fall. They are a little heavier than I anticipated, but I’ll take sore forearms over an aching back any day of the week. For the price, I can’t see a better solution to cleaning up yard waste. I highly recommend them if you have a lot of trees!

I had purchased the prior plastic version but it kept on breaking when you picked up large piles of leaves or wet leaves. I tried the new product last week and it worked great. The re-design is much more durable and i lifted both large piles of leaves and wet leaves without a problem. The new version is made of steel so it weighs more but the durability is worth it.

Definitely makes picking up leaves easier. The only problem is if you have a ton of leaves it gets heavy quick.

I like it, a real back saver. Maybe a little heavy to use all day. But, I'm an out of shape 60yo fat man and I hate raking leaves. I’m not going to spend all day doing it. I prefer a little heavy over light plastic that will not last two seasons.

I was excited to add this to the tools I use to clean up yard debris. I used it one month and it started to fall apart. The handles had glue that oozed out to the shafts, the grabbers did close evenly. It is better for very light work, as a pooper scooper.

The grabber head blades easily twist if you pick up a lopsided load (like a large pinecone. So this is just a meh device. Had great potential being metal, but needs something to reinforce the head.

I noticed a couple of reviews complained about the weight. I didn’t have any trouble with that. And it saved a lot of time I would love to see them, make a full-size version with a rake attachment.

I can’t believe how much use I am getting out of this handy garden/yard pick up tool. The quality is great they are heavy duty, just wish the handles were a little longer. But I use them alll the time.
