These Braces are the best in the market. I recently had ankle surgery for a ruptured tendon. I have tried more than 3 others claiming to help hold your injured ankle, however they were not helping at all-they seemed like a sock. This brace however holds my foot steady and tight with the velcro straps. The velcro is not too big which is a plus. One thing to consider is that it fits normal tennis shoes. My new shoes I recently purchased had a tight ankle stability hold bragging about how it fits the foot better...however the tight shoe with the brace is hard. I recommend making sure your shoes have enough room to allow it to fit comfortably. I am glad I found these when I got my cast removed. They sure are a ankle saver!!

Twisted my ankle and I had to wear a walker boot. I’m 71yrs. After 2 wks I bought this ankle compression sleeve (came with 2) and it helped give support and put compression around my ankle. I still had some injury pain, but it made it easier for me to walk. I saw a podiatrist and she told me to wear the sleeve for another 3 weeks. I wear the sleeve over a standard sock (not too thick) and I’m able to fit my sleeved ankle into my sneaker. You have to loosen the shoelaces to make it fit. The straps are attached to the bottom of the sleeve so you may feel a small square sized lump but it’s not uncomfortable. I’m just happy to wear regular shoes with the sleeve. I’m able to walk around the house and have worn to the grocery store, too. After walking some I remove the sleeve to ice. Velcro really sticks. I bend the Velcro piece down and bend over again so it will stick on strap. If not you will fight it sticking to anything around it. Overall I love this sleeve. I bought size L because my feet are wide and they swell a bit. I was given L/XL which worked out well. I wear size 8 shoe, but you measure using their chart. Follow the chart. I believe my measurements fell at the end of M and beginning of L so I chose L. I recommend this ankle sleeve and I would buy it again.

Everyone's feet are different so you may not have as good an experience as other reviews have stated. I wear a size 11 shoe. If you measure my foot I should wear a 9 1/2 or a 10 but they're way too tight. I purchased the Large/X Large and with socks on they are about as tight as I would want them. I can't wear these without socks. I also couldn't imagine anyone with feet bigger than mine being comfortable in these. I pull the end of the my sock out a little bit and then put these on and then my socks aren't tight around my toes. I like the yellow stripes on them because you can use those to keep them aligned as you're pulling them on. I had a problem with some others that if you weren't extremely careful you would end up pulling them on and they would be way off to the side. These really help my ankles. The Velcro strap is just sewn in the center of the back. I'm wondering how long that will last. It says not to get the velcro on the other parts which is really hard when you're putting them on and taking them off. I've not had a problem with there not being enough support with the velcro straps. They work fine for me. You'll probably have to wear them a couple of times and adjust the straps to where they are comfortable. I go ahead and wear them on both feet but my main problem is on my left foot. My ankle hurts. What I have found out is if I get low on vitamin D and magnesium, it lets me know right away with my left ankle. It looks like it's going to take a little longer this time to heal. The other thing that helps if you take it regularly is glucosamine chondroitin and MSM. Also, fish oil capsules. Those act as a lubricant for your joints. I get busy and get sidetracked and stop taking my supplements and then I pay for it. I think I've got everything arranged now to where I remember every day to take them. So if anyone else is having any problems with muscle and ankle pain, maybe this will help them. A little potassium doesn't hurt either, but you may want to talk that over with your doctor. That is if they will even listen. Good luck!
