Best "green" dot I've ever used
Best optic I've ever used. Huge windows, and with the green dot I'm not getting any of the usual starburst pattern I get from red dots due to my astigmatism. Just a very thin, faint fuzzy area around the edge of the dot that's all but unnoticeable. I really like all the reticle options and shakeawake features as well, though I'll probably just stick with the 8 moa circle with the dot when competing. It's a great fit on my Canik Rival S. It's amazing how quickly and easily I find the dot and how simple it was to zero in at the range yesterday.

STOP looking. Add to cart and call it a day!
I got an email asking did this purchase meet my expectations. Nope. Not even close. This thing is hands down 1 of the best on the market. I shoot competitively and this (in my opinion) although marketed towards the competition shooters. This optic is not only for competitive shooters... Anyone can pick this up and up their game tremendously. There's a reason this is 1 of highest rated optics with competitive shooters. I had a police officer buddy swing by last night. 30 seconds later he's going to order 1 as well. Quality is top tier. Functionality.... with 8 daylight settings and 2 night vision... Customize it for numerous shooting disciplines. Crystal clear glass. Speed of target acquisition is insane. You will not find more bang for your buck. Stop looking and hit add to cart. You won't be sorry.

Tried and true and worth it
Excellent as always. This optic is a great value compared to some that cost much more. I prefer the green dot to the red due to astigmatism in both eyes. It's super easy to get on target, as well as reacquire after a shot. This one has several options for the dot itself, as well as varying brightness levels. Not my first Holosun and won't be my last.

Target shooter's dream sight
The Holosun 507 Comp is truly a red dot for competitors and target-focused shooters. I would not recommend putting this "large screen tv" on a carry weapon. I own 8 dots (Holosun, Leupold, Vortex, & Aimpoint), and this is now my favorite range gun sight. The large window really helps to pick up your target quickly. I have a Leupold Delta Point on a CZ Shadow 2 that I thought provided a super view, but the Holosun is superior in many ways. I replaced a Vortex Venom on one of my range guns with the 507 Comp and could not be happier. The quality of the dot is much crisper, and the 507 offers a boatload of view options (2MOA, etc.) This is not an inexpensive sight, but if you are serious about your shooting, the 507 Comp must be considered. Buy one!

Versatile
New to dots on pistols. The thing I like best on this one is the large window and the ability to set it for up to 4 different symbols or any combination of them. Makes for easy acquisition and by picking the right size combination of symbols it makes distance estimation easy. The shake to wake is very good as is the adjustment for brightness. I got it in green.

Exceeded Expectations – Great Competition / Everyday Carry Reflex Sight!
I’ve had the Holosun HE507COMP on my pistol for several months now and it’s been a fantastic upgrade over stock iron sights and many other red dots I’ve tried. The large 1.1″ × 0.87″ viewing window makes target acquisition fast and intuitive, and the sight picture feels very open compared to other optics I’ve used. The Competition Reticle System (CRS) is a real standout — I love having multiple reticle options (2 MOA dot plus 8/20/32 MOA circles) depending on whether I’m shooting close targets or dialing in at distance. It gives me flexibility for both practice and matches without feeling cluttered. Battery life has been excellent with up to ~50,000 hours and the Shake Awake technology means it’s ready when I need it without draining power while sitting on the shelf. The controls are intuitive and the lockout feature keeps it from changing settings accidentally. Build quality feels solid — lightweight yet rugged aluminum housing with IP67 water resistance — and it has held zero even after multiple range sessions. Whether you’re into competition shooting or just want a reliable reflex sight for everyday use, this one’s a great choice.

My current favorite dot, over Vortex or Ultradot
I'm using a more expensive Ultradot, and a less expensive Vortex Viper on different pistols, and I honestly like this Holosun the best. The green dot is more visible for me, and for someone that wears glasses and has some astigmatism, the "blur" my eyes can make of a dot are much less impacted on green than they are on red for the same size dot, so I recommend green, as well as the other features on this sight as well. This is smaller and lighter than an ultradot, and more visible. It's similar in size and weight to the Vortex Vipers, but the Holosun can be click step adjusted for MOA WITHOUT having to unscrew any "lock screws" or just having a free rotating adjustment screw like the Vortex. The Holosun can also have the battery changed without removing the sight or affecting zero, whereas a Vortex must be removed to get the battery out of the bottom of it. I also really appreciate the multiple choices for reticle. You can use the dot, or different MOA circles, or a combination of both. I chose both the dot and the smallest circle simultaneously, because the dot is zeroed for center bull, and the smallest circle they have is almost an exact fit for the black on the target, making it almost like putting an aperture site ring around it. Makes it every easy to recover after recoil to put it back on target, and when there's time to be very precise in slow or timed, I find myself centering the green ring around the black circle and having that be very intuitive and natural to do. In faster stages I'm more working on getting the dot centered quickly, but the ring helps it be a bit easier to pick up after recoil. This is my current go-to now. Just know that if you don't have a flat spot milled out to mount it directly, you need to buy a weaver/picatinny mount for it, which is not very expensive, but I think should have come in the box like my other dots came with. At this price, a $15-$20 separately boxed and shipped mount should have only set them back $10 to include in the same box already.
