Solid Good Quality Stand
Multi position, each arm locks in place easily by turning the gear wheel at each point. The gear wheels have locking under collar so when done up match to the corresponding wheel both wheels interlink when done up, meaning each position is locked in and will not move. The clamp is of a very good qulity. Excellent stand.

It's pretty good, but there's three Issues I had that you may want to be aware of...
I only have three issues that may be a deal breakers for some people, other than them the stand is pretty good. 1. It's not 360 degrees in all directions... so there's five nodes (a node, in this context, means a point where you can change the direction of the stand). The third and fourth nodes are 360 degrees but only in one direction. The fifth node is like... 135 degrees in all directions, facing up. The 1st and 2nd node are 360 degree in one direction, but they rotate in opposite directions and since they're positioned closely together, together they're basically 360 degrees in all directions. What this means is you made not be able to position your camera exactly where you want it. 2. This'll be a short one, there's a couple bumps and cuts that implies that I got some sort of second-hand stand... I'm not going to return it, because the stand works but it's something to look out for. The box was fully intact and undamaged, so there's a good change that the seller provided a working... second-hand desk mount stand. 3. The desk mount itself is a circle (and there's a square underneath that) that is about 3x the size of the width of my finger. This is important, if you have a wall under your desk or something like I do. Please see the video to understand what I mean better. Other than that, for me the stand still does the job, so I'm going to keep it and it's not necessarily a bad buy. However, I think it's important to let you guys know of the negatives that this mount has.

Handy gadget
This is a well made little desk mount for camera equipment. I wanted something like this to mount a white flash reflector panel over and area I use for macro-photography in my home studio. This works very well for that but you have to be realistic. Although quite strong this will never be as rigid as a true tripod. Yet this one is quite strong so perfect for the function I put it too since the reflector is very lightweight. I am not sure about mounting heavy cameras on it.

stable but lose screw
Pretty stable, but the screw for connecting is so lose that it screws in too deep when trying to screw on the ball head. I advice to glue it in place

Really great Value for Money
I wanted to write a review on this because when I bought it, I wanted something to hold my Camera EOS 200D, as my second camera for Podcasting or Streaming to YouTube, So basically something I could pull in and take out when not Streaming Live, my main concern was Durability, and there were one or two reviews which claimed it was not that sturdy, Well this product I now have for Six Months and waited to do this review so I could confirm it was good value, Actually for the price I have to go one better and stay great Value, I use this twice a week and adjusted the Angle more times that I can count, now having said that I take care not to over tighten, and have not abused it, also I leave the Camera on it all the time, and most times with an 800m Lense on it, also easy to use and looks very well 10 out of ten for this does exactly the Job it says it does, I will come back in a year to confirm.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU NEED SIDE POSITION
The stand came pre assembled in the top position and is impossible to remove and switch to side position as advertised. The provided alan key bent before the screw budged. I believe it was cross threaded and machine tightened. Complete waste of time.

Great for holding up anything up to 3kg - bit wobbly and hard to position though
Great arm to prop anything up to a mid-sized personal projector, holds up well without additional support, even at full extension. Main gripe I have with it is that its not fully configurable but more in 'steps' of about 30' per notch, you might have to play around with how each leg of the arm is rotated to get your ideal placement.

Works for me
This was the only one I could find with the length and options I needed because I wanted to connect to the side not the top. It is working and I've had it set up for six weeks, we even had a tropical storm with maybe 40 mph wind gust, and it hasn't budged. The poles are very sturdy metal. I wish they were 1 inch longer or if there was an option just to buy one longer pole. The metal poles are very heavy, and do contribute to some of the unsteadiness, because I have this attached horizontally rather than vertically. The joints are all plastic. I am pretty certain if you wanted to take this apart and move it a lot it would fail pretty fast. I tightened the knob at the mount as much as I thought I could without cracking it. It really wants to spin to the left but since I don't touch it at all it has stayed. The other two joints in the middle are like gears so you do not have a high degree of custom positions, it's approximately a quarter inch for each turn. It took a lot for me to get the shoe off to mount it on the side instead, they give you an Allen wrench and I ended up laying it on the floor and stepping on the wrench with my foot because it was screwed on so tight. I had a very specific and unique situation and this worked so I'm giving it five stars. I also thought it was a very fair price. If you need to mount something and leave it there, I highly recommend this. It would also work well if you only have to turn it where the bar connects to the clamp in a vertical situation. I do wish it came in white but maybe I will paint it one day. Note that the piece on the top where I have the ring outdoor cam attached is something I already had (repurposed selfie stick camera holder), it did not come with this. This came with a ball joint attachment that I did not use.

Joints are tough to use
Out of all my arms (and I have a quite few), this is the hardest to operate and get into position. If I hadn't enthousiastically thrown out the box, I probably would have returned this. Now I'll make due until I am fed up and a get more easily operated / smooth arm.

ottimo
