Which if you're using the Steamdeck as a docked machine shouldn't be an issue. I recommend using this along with Decky loader and the Fantatstic Decky plugin to override the stock fan curve to your for best results. I have not used it for long enough to discharge the battery but I see no reason to doubt the official battery life specification.Unexpected Pros:Does not interfere with stock fan operation in a detectable manner (it flows through just fine)The kickstand it adds to the steam deck is a welcome addition and makes this more useful.Unexpected cons:This isn't a big deal to me but it's something to pay attention to if you decide to take the device on and off frequently. It's actually extremely easy to install incorrectly and not have any side effects other than it being difficult to remove. There are protusions in the top of the device that key into the fan slits at the top of the steamdeck. If you don't pay attention to this to get them lined up right. You'll get the device on with relatively little problems ( and no noticeable decrease in fan performance), but you'll find much more difficult than expected to get off because it grips the steamdeck harder than it should. Depending on the tolerances ( between the SD and the attachment).
