lovely expansion
Love the game, I personally don't like catan and how it just favors players with close friendships. However, this game is for sure a strategic game that needs a lot of thinking and teamwork to defeat this progressing npc invasion. I love the expansion spirits and the new scenarios as it makes the game harder than the base game giving me a challenge. I honestly love to play "Dances up Earthquakes" as this spirit just keeps building up power and then unleashing it around round 5 or 6. I love the game and honestly worth the money to invest.

Excellent expansion
Our family loves Spirit Island, and the Incarnate expansion has quickly become one of our favorites. We play the game regularly, and this addition brought the fresh depth and complexity we were hoping for. The new spirits are the real highlight—creative, thematic, and packed with unique mechanics that breathe new life into the game. Some of our new favorites came straight from this expansion, and they’ve added exciting new layers of strategy and synergy to our sessions. If you've played the base game a lot and are ready for more challenge and variety, this is a must-have. The components are, as always, top-notch. Everything feels sturdy and well-made, from the spirit panels to the tokens. You can tell care went into the design and production. Overall, Incarnate is a fantastic buy for Spirit Island fans looking to expand their experience. It builds beautifully on the base game without compromising what makes it great. Highly recommended!

My favorite game out of the hundreds I have
Spirit Island can be played solo or with others. It is a fantastic game. I've been playing weekly for years and still haven't tried all the spirits. There is a huge learning curve; when we started, we thought the game was impossible on easy. It took some perseverance to realize how incredibly well-designed the game is and how it rewards good decisions. If I could only own one game, it would be this one. It's already like the only one I own, as I play this 10x more than the rest of my games combined.

More expansion, and more strategies for Spirit Island!
If you like Spirit Island, this makes it even better! More spirits with some cool features. Just adds to the replayability of a game which has held my attention since before the pandemic! Which is rare for games to do. 6 stars if I could because yeah, it's awesome.

The design just gets better and better
I will start by saying that if you are brand new to Spirit Island or if you have barely scratched the surface of the base game/jagged earth, you don't need this product. However as soon as you find yourself wanting more this is one of the best expansions ever made to a game, pound for pound. The spirit design has come a long way, with there being absolutely no misses amongst the roster and there being no awkward design elements like some of the original spirits. Speaking of the original spirits, there are so many aspects for the previously released spirits that either fixes or dramatically changes them to be far more enjoyable that it would take you a very long time to even just play through those. If you are on the fence, take the plunge.

Spirit Island keeps getting better
Nature Incarnate continues the trend of each expansion being better than the previous. The developers have really hit their stride with new spirits that have innovative designs along with fresh takes on familiar mechanisms/playstyles. Perhaps even more impressive is the nearly two dozen spirit aspects, including at least one for all the early spirits (original, Branch & Claw, and Promo Pack 1) that either address some of the core issues with these first-wave spirits and/or meaningfully change the spirit’s playstyle, at least to the extent possible given limitations with aspect design. Thanks to the aspects, I’m now enjoying playing spirits I previously had little interest in. The adversary is also quite fin and the other additions (major powers, event cards, fear cards, and blight cards) are also welcome editions. My only complaint with the expansion is now I have too hard of a time choosing which spirit to play!
