Where can I get fitting instructions. I’ll need to use the rubber spacers because the wall is very uneven.

The instructions should have come wit the box so I suggest that you contact the supplier. You definitely need the spacers even on a flat wall because if you don't the flap will not open

how can i stop the water from going into it , every day my mail is all wet

There must be an obvious problem with the post box. As I’ve had mine for just over a year and Ive never had wet mail at all.
