AmLactin Crepe Firming Body Cream, 15% Lactic Acid, 12 oz

Love this stuff (and pretty much anything Amlactin makes!) I already see results on my chest area, as well as the back of my hands. You get better results with this cream vs the pricier Crepe Erase, Strivectin, etc. Plus, with the size of the container, you are set for a while. Don’t be hesitant because you see lactic acid in the ingredients. This is the gentlest AHA out there & also helps with moisturizing. Like with any exfoliant, wearing sunscreen is vital. It is a thick cream, so sometimes I use a little of the Amlactin Bright & Smooth Face & Body Serum with it (which adds a nice boost of Niacinamide & Vitamin C) or I will alternate altogether. I would like to say that I am disciplined in my skincare, but some nights (okay, many nights), I am just too tired. That being said, I am still getting results!! No fragrance, effective ingredients, and results (not to mention the affordability and value!) A+++

First off, this stuff works. In just a few days my crepe skin is gone. And it's not too heavy, which is important here in Florida. Now, the smell. Yes it's an odd burning like smell. I just mixed in some rosemary oil and the smell is gone.

I bought this specifically to help with crepey skin. I haven’t noticed a big difference in firmness or texture yet, but it is a very thick, hydrating lotion. It definitely feels nourishing and does a good job moisturizing dry skin. The only downside for me is the smell. It’s not pleasant and takes a little getting used to. Thankfully, it fades after a bit. Overall, while I didn’t see dramatic results for crepey skin, it works well as a rich, therapeutic moisturizer.

I am a skeptic, especially with all the ads flying at us. I refuse to buy expensive creams as experience has taught me that price certainly doesn’t mean they actually work. I have thin, crepey skin. I am 68 and have spent a great deal of my life outdoors. My SIL suggested this cream. My skeptic came out, but I trust her so I tried it. So glad I did. My skin looks and feels so much better. I see some people find it sticky. I certainly don’t, but I live in a very dry climate. Maybe a humid area would be different??? I have not noticed any odor at all and I am very picky about smells. I found it helpful enough to buy it again. That’s an endorsement.

I have used this for a week and have noticed mild smoothing. Better than anything else; for reference, I’ve used Sol de Janiero (crap) and Gold Bond (mid). This one works. Unfortunately it also smells of stale cat piss. I guess pick your battles. I use this only at night for obvious reasons. Good news is it also doubles as birth control. Would probably work twice as well if I used it twice a day as recommended, but I have to ride the train.

Love this body lotion. It feels nourishing, but not greasy it absorbs into the skin well and quickly. It leaves the skin feeling and looking good for 24 hours. I have been using it for about three weeks. I don't see any great improvement in craziness, but I do love the way this performs.

First, I want to say that I bought this with full knowledge that people complained about the smell. I'm not typically smell-averse so I took the chance that it wasn't that bad. I will further say the smell doesn't come from the product itself; it somehow manifests after you apply it. To me, it smells like burnt skin. The feel is very nice, and I must say that it has reduced my crepiness somewhat (I've only used it for three days), but in order to get past the smell, I have to apply a fragranced lotion over top of it. I'm not sure how long I will be able to tolerate the smell, but for now, addressing the crepiness far outweighs the smell.
