Is it okay to add this to an established tank with fish/coral?** A: I really don't recommend it. It will cloud the tank severely and leave a powdery covering on everything. **Q: Will this really cycle a new tank instantly? Seems too good to be true.** A: Nothing, I repeat nothing cycles a tank instantly This will help kickstart a cycle but requires an ammonia source and time. **Q: Do you have to add anything else to tap water to make this fish safe?** A: As long as you don’t have any live stock you can just add tap water I would personally use dechlorinated water ## Frequently Bought Together - Nature's Ocean Bio-Activ Live Aragonite Reef Substrate, 8 lbs - Instant Ocean Sea Salt 50 Gallons, For Marine Aquariums, Fast Dissolving - Coralife Aquarium Fish Tank Deep Six Hydrometer For Measuring Water Salinity PPT and Specific Gravity --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/53536851-natures-ocean-bio-activ-live-aragonite-reef-substrate-8-lbs](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/53536851-natures-ocean-bio-activ-live-aragonite-reef-substrate-8-lbs) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
