Great beginner microscope!
Love this little pocket microscope. I have been having a blast exploring all kinds objects, surfaces and textures with this little thing. Given its price, I wasn't expecting much in terms of image or build quality but I'm happy to say it's well built and has a really sharp/clear image. The zoom is also great. My only two nitpicks are that sometimes the light can be a bit too bright and reflects off whatever you are trying to view, distorting the image. It would be nice if it had brightness control for the light. This can be somewhat alleviated by using a dark background through. Second, the cell phone lens clip is pretty much useless. I think it could work okay on some smaller phones with a specific camera placement but for my Galaxy S23 Ultra it did not work very well. I had better luck just pointing my camera at the eye lens manually. I would still recommend this product though, it's great for beginners and people who are interested into getting into microscopy. Buy the one without the clip though as it is cheaper. A steady tripod would work better if you're really interested in taking photos

Absolutely 100% without a doubt worth the money!
Holy crap this thing is awesome. It's a little tricky to get my phone to play nice with it but just looking with the naked eye through the scope is *so cool* and super easy to get the hang of! I'm gonna be taking this all over the place to just look at random stuff up close with the knowledge that no matter how badly I damage the scope, it was less than $20

More fun that a traditional microscope
Great toy for looking at stuff on the go. More so, and much easier to use than a traditional microscope with slides etc. My son would run around at look at grass leaved fiber on cloth.... It was a very free form toy for him. This is not a cellular level microscope that magnification isn't that high. Its reasonable tough. I wouldn't chick it at a wall but it will survive floor and outside drops. The built in light was bright even indoors (its doubled as a flashlight a few times) and the focus physically setting it on something was very clear. I'd honestly get one as an adult for things things that interest me on a hiking or fishing trip.

my husband likes it
i bought this for my husband back in January and he loves it . he does lab work regularly , and this is by no means comparable to a full on microscope but can be handy for casually examining things . the phone clip was useful for him , it’s portable , the light on it is strong , and the image quality is decent . The attached photo is from one of his textbooks or something . Super cute little thing . I also bought glass slides and coverslips for him to use , they’re not necessary for this , but they make viewing things easier rather than having to position the microscope and hold it steady . I’d recommend this for someone new to microscopy to get used to the lighting, focusing, and viewing process or someone who is already familiar with and ENJOYS microscopy so they can just look at stuff up close .

Didnt work.
Didn't work as expected. It was difficult even for me to use let alone my kid. This is very sensitive and causes eyes strain. Pretty disappointed. I would not recommend this item.

Defective focus mechanism
It seems like a great little scope except for one terrible defect. The focus keeps changing for like a whole second after you stop moving the focus ring. I don't know how they managed to do that, but it makes the whole scope almost unusable.

100% Recommended
This microscope is really good. I bought two because I saw several reviews that were very positive, so I decided to get them. I ordered the package that comes with the phone holder. These microscopes are really good for the price because they allow you to see things up close and with very good quality. The phone holder could definitely be a bit more robust since my phone is quite light (I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus) and it works fine, but any other slightly heavier phone might not be ideal for using it. I've observed all kinds of things, and since I'm a mycologist who loves studying mushrooms in nature, this little device is perfect for my use. Some people have left negative reviews, but that's only because they don't understand how the microscope works. For example, some people say it doesn't focus properly, but that's because they obviously don't know how to use the dial to adjust the focus. There are also others who even complain because the image is upside down—duh! Anyone who knows how lenses work knows that the image will always be upside down with this type of device. So, to anyone reading this review, I recommend trying these microscopes because they are really good, and I recommend them 100%. 1st image: The pores of a Reishi Mushroom Video: Green mold growing in a grain of rice I must say that what you see in the videos doesn't compare to what you are going to see with your own eye.

Great gift
Requires some skill to use. Could be difficult for a small kid, if it's a bit difficult for an adult like me with no microscopic experience. Otherwise, it's great.

Pequeno no tamanho, eficiente no trabalho!

It works!
I honestly bought this with little expectations, but after using it, I am thrilled that it works quite well. Tested on different items and it’s just brilliant! Definitely enjoy using it even as a parent. The only downside is that it feels cheap and plasticky. I don’t mind as much though as it’s portable and lightweight for kids to bring it anywhere they go. In conclusion, I personally think it’s worth the money and hope that it’s durable enough to last for a long time lol.
