Batteries seem to last a good long time, wife loves it cuz it keeps the kids out. Set up is fairly straightforward. Can be a bit finicky if your finger(S) are dirty/wet.

After locking myself out of my house, I decided it was time to change my locks to smart devices. I wanted a door lock that allowed for fingerprint and pin. The positive features of this lock are: *Fingerprint reader *Passcode PIN *Physical keys for backup *Backup power through USB ensures no lock-out even if batteries die (and it is the current usb-C, not micro jack) *Smartphone APP, which can greatly help in programming (registering multiple pins, fingerprints, temporary codes, auto-locking, other functions) The installation instructions were good. Lock and door handle seem solid, with no wiggle or loose play in movement as other handles have had. App works well as makes registering fingerprints and pins easier than programming with codes on the lock. Fingerprint reader works relatively well, but sometimes need to hold finger in position longer, or move and reset a few times to accept--do wish it was a bit better/more accurate, but its not bad. May try to re-register another print (same finger) which sometimes helps. It auto-locks within a few seconds, which is secure, but sometimes annoying (but you can change setting if desired). Seen a few reviews that state the lock is worthless and anyones fingerprint can unlock it, which was worrisome before purchase. But, this is a safety feature and clearly stated in the instructions: if pins and fingerprints are not correctly registered, it will allow any fingerprint to work to keep you from being locked out. You MUST register those pins/fingerprints correctly before the lock can function! Cannot determine how long the batteries will last at this time, and of course how often the lock is used, autolocking mode, ect. makes any claim meaningless. Mine has been going (with constant auto-lock) and a few unlocks a day, for 2 months with no issue so far. I like the door handle lock for its color choices, and fair price for the many features, which all work well.

This product was good at first but it drains batteries very fast. Sometimes new batteries don’t last few hours. And it actually up sometimes by locking/unlocking the door by itself for new reason. There is no support that you can reach out to but you have lifetime tech support!!! I have had better experience with different door locks but unfortunately this one not one of them. The other issue is you can not make copies of the key incase if you want to have an extra spare. The digital key never worked for me no matter how many times I tried set it up. Also the fingerprint gets deleted sometimes for no reason. Over all experience wasn’t not good. Waste of money and annoying.

Great product. It was easy to install and works very well. The fingerprint option was also easy to implement and use.

It's been less than a week since we received these and installed them, but so far we love them. The only complaint is that they came with a card telling us to register them for a lifetime warranty, but the website to do so doesn't exist.

Very easy to install on our door. Convenient yet feeling safe. Love the options of thumbprint, code or key. Gives us options for each of us. Fit our door perfectly. We've been using for quite some time and very durable considering the great price too. And looks like a normal door knob vs the big key pad type.

Easy install and works great!

At first this lock was nice since I could just scan my fingerprint and get in without the worry of a key. Eventually the doorknob died and my manual key was locked into my room as I was relying on the fingerprint function and accidentally left my manual key. I used a type c cable and retrieved it from my room and made sure to always carry my manual keys from then on. Every time I charged the door knob, it died quickly and it became an inconvenience having to charge it all the time. Eventually I only used the manual key to unlock and lock it because it would lock from the outside and then unlock once I closed the door (so people outside were able to get in). Today my doorknob wouldn’t even lock, not even with the manual key. The inconsistency of this doorknob is driving me nuts and I would be better off with a regular doorknob at this point. Do not buy, it’s stupid and makes your life more difficult than it needs to be.
