I have bought unknown number of storage devices from Sandisk for 10 yrs now and they have never disappointed me even once.. And this one is one amongst them.. I had little fears because this is the most expensive storage device I even bought so far, almost Rs.10K.. But I am using for past 6 months and Its going fine.. Though transfer speeds are not as mentioned and depends on the system we use.. But thats fine.. Loving it.. Not just this I have another similar 500GB SSD from Sandisk and I am using that for past 3 yrs and thats going good too.. Sandisk = Recommended

Very good in size and quality I love it

I have a couple of these to use for backups. One of them is my Macrium Reflect rescue boot drive. I create a new copy of that on the drive every time I do backups. That picks up both Reflect updates since the last time I did this, as well as Windows system updates, which come out about once a month. I create the rescue media, then boot from the drive. Then I image my Windows system drive to another one of these portable SSDs. The target of the backups is actually a big brother (1T) of this little 480G device. They have both worked flawlessly since I got them. I do have a second 480G SSD but I've only ever used it for a few days. It's got my Windows 11 install files on it. It did take a few tries to get W11 installed properly, but this second 480G SSD has sat idle on the shelf for almost 2 years now. I hope I never need it again. I hope it doesn't just rot like a quart of milk. But I am assuming the probabilities are extreme low that I will ever use it again. It's there more for my peace of mind than for actual functionality. I should note that these things tend to get rather hot. The back side seems to be the hotter side. So when you are using these, be sure you have plenty of air circulation around the device. It's best to try to prop it up on an edge instead of lying it flat. The back side is where the cooling is most needed.

Simplesmente o melhor que já pude possuir até hoje. Arrependo de não ter investido em um de 2Tb, pois é perfeito esse HD Externo. Vai sem medo nele e se delicie na velocidade, leveza e praticidade.
