Maxcatch Weight Forward Fly Fishing Line with Two Welded Loops, Floating Fly Lines for Freshwater, 100FT (WF1F, 2F, 3F, 4F, 5F, 6F, 7F, 8F)

I bought this fly line as an experiment. I had read reviews about people having issues with cracked coatings and quality issues. I purchased the 3 wt and spooled it on my reel. The line I got was in the exact box shown and had a welded loop on both ends. I would describe the color as a pale blue and peach. I read so many reviews about cheap fly lines being tangled but truthfully even on 90$ Scientific Angler lines it's just the nature of the beast. Taking your time to spool any fly line will help. I fished the line 1 time so far. Casting was great, nice smooth coating, great taper. 6 months from now it might be junk but time will tell. If it turns out to be crap, I'm out a total of 12$. The quality of this line is as good or better than Rio avid and the economy versions that SA has out. I'm not expecting a 90$ line and if your just needing a decent fly line, try one

I needed new fly line and this fit the bill. It is economical and works as it should.

I didn't get the package with backing and leaders, so can't comment on those, but the fly line seems to work well, cast smooth, didn't have any problems with "tangled Mess" like many other reviews, You can't just tie it to your backing and throw it on the floor and expect it to not tangle, Also the complaint about the loops I don't know either, I cut them off and use Nail knots. All In All I think it is a good line for the price point will see how it last.

I like this Maxcatch Fly Line Combo pack because it comes with weight forward floating line, backing and leader all in one order. The line is supple and seems very well made. It has loops on the end and is marked as to which end goes toward the reel so that it is easy to know which loop goes on which end. All 3 line products in the pictures below are included in the combo. I've included a picture of the loop end of the fly line. The loop makes it much easier to secure the backing to the fly line. The fly line comes loosely wound on a plastic spool, which helps to keep the line from arriving so tangled that it is difficult to wind on to the reel. I've included a picture of the backing, line and leader ready to fish on my Maxcatch 3-4 reel and 4 piece travel rod. This is my second purchase of Maxcatch line and I am very pleased with their products and customer service. I fish for fun and relaxation, and I know this line works well for me and I will continue to buy from Maxcatch.

This line doesn’t seem bad for the price so far. No defects and solid double welded loop ends, but like most other reviews, it took me a while to spool on a reel. Tangle after tangle on this line. Wish they would figure out how to spool the line better. This is my second purchase of this line for backup reels and both times the line tangled so bad initially and was very frustrating. Once that fiasco was over, the line works decent, and for the price is a good value.

This is a good serviceable fly line, as a beginner, I do not think I could tell the difference between this line and one costing much more It was easy to spool on to the flyreel it has a welded loop on each end which makes attaching it to the backing and tippet very easy The linenhas a tag tomshow you which end should go-to the reel

Great product! My only complaint is I thought it would be a lighter green. Awesome bang for your buck! You will be ripping lips and jacking jaws on them big old german browns as soon as you hit the lake or stream! Great buy for the price!
