Café Brew Universal 12 Cup Replacement Carafe for Coffee Makers, Glass

I've had two of the Consumer Reports top rated Bellas. Second one was because I cracked the carafe of the first, and Bella gave me a refund since they can't or won't replace carafes. Mighty nice of them. But I cracked the carafe of the second one and this time just thought I'd chance this replacement. Here's what I found: yes, it fits a Bella CM 1110 which means it fits pretty much their drip line. On the minus side it's a bit smaller and seems thin, and I am sure at some point I'll be replacing this one too-- but at this price it's a great deal. However, on the plus side, the coffee actually seems a bit smoother using this carafe. Only way I can explain that is that the top contacts the auto shut off valve/spring of the coffee basked a bit lower, so the coffee flows around the top and through the slots and aerates a bit more? I didn't expect any difference, and first time I used it was early in the morning on timer mode and didn't even realize I'd swapped the carafes at first (I need coffee to wake up). So no expectation bias here. Anyway, thoroughly pleased so far. It's nice to be able to keep going with my current coffee maker.

I really would like to thank the other reviewers who bought this to replace the terrible leaky Keurig carafe. I bought this replacement after reading those positive reviews. OMG - no coffee all over the counter this morning! Its like a miracle. Saved me the cost of replacing the coffee maker! This fits perfectly and works so well. Yes, I agree the measurements are a bit off, but I could care less about that. What was the keurig designer thinking, and does he/she still have a job?

I was thrilled to actually find a replacement carafe for my Hamilton 46205 Coffee Maker. It had taken me a while to find a coffee maker to fit my space the way I wanted it to for ease of use. Ideally I wanted it to fit under a typical wall cabinet height and not have to pull it out from under shelves to fill the water chamber or the coffee filter. Very few have both a lift out reservoir and swing out basket. Well o short month after finding the right coffee maker I broke the carafe!! There is not a replacement from Hamilton Beach and the other generic replacements got bad reviews for fit with my machine. CAFE BREW COLLECTION 12cup REPLACEMENT CARAFE Pros: The listing was very informational, showing all makers this carafe will fit and HOW it fits (it specifically stated ‘snug fit’ for my Hamilton Beach 46205) - it fit exactly as described - it was indeed “snug” but not tight. BUT, it was snug width wise not height wise, so didn’t adversely affect the pause function AND after using for a few days it is a little less snug and I really like the way it seats and stays put. It is not hard to put in or take out. After using for a week I went ahead and purchased another for an emergency reserve. Pours nicely Decent price - cheaper than many of the other replacement carafes I perused while searching. And less than ½ the cost of replacing the whole maker (my maker was extremely affordable but I really didn’t want to throw it out!) Cons: This really doesn’t bother me personally as I don’t typically brew 12 cups and THINK it will still fit a ‘full’ 12cups as measured on the coffee maker water reservoir- but I feel it worth mentioning and is the only reason for knocking the rating down to a 4. As seen in my pictures, when I fill the reservoir to “8cups” when it is finished brewing it measures almost 10 cups in the carafe. This measurement had been consistent over the whole week so not a one time fluke. This was listed as “Prime delivery - fulfilled by Amazon” but took 5 business days to arrive. I did not dock the rating for this as I think it was the fault of Amazon and the choice of delivery method (the dreaded UPS drop off to USPS for delivery).

Nice pot, I use it for heating water in the microwave to make coffee. I needed a larger microwavable pot than the old French Press I used to use, since I'm making more coffee these days. I can measure the correct amount of water and nuke it in the same pot as there is no metal in it -- and that's hard to find. If you need a large capacity receptacle for heating water, this is it. I've had no problems with anything except avoiding the hot steam when I pour the boiled water over my coffee grounds. Handle does not heat up! Also, comes with two lids (since it is intended to be a replacement pot for multiple coffeemakers) so you can choose which works best for you.

This product is not universal in the sense that the cup size for this carafe is not the same as my Hamilton Beach coffee pot. It is at least 1/2 cup smaller. EX: when I want 8 cups I need to fill the carafe to 10 cups! Quite annoying but the carafe does fit in my old pot and I am able to brew my coffee fine. I had to remove the pause and brew feature for it to fit which is inconvenient but not a disaster. Saved me a lot of money to just replace the carafe and not the entire machine so I am okay with it.

This Cafe Brew collection replacement carafe fist my Gevalia coffeemaker. Comes with two heights for the drip lid so it can generically fit a number of brewers with that feature. You have no idea, that for the longest time, I was tied to re-ordering from Gevalia directly for a replacement carafe until I couldn't. This one was a surprise fit. Am glad it worked out. Search is over. Been using it for a few days and so far I am pleased. Lid easily comes off and easy to wash. I wish the handle was not snapped together, that made me nervous but let's see how long it'll last. It is lightweight and easy to put together, took a minute.

I purchased this Medelco Cafe Brew Carafe from Amazon 1 1/2 years ago and today the handle split apart while I was hand-washing the carafe. Granted the product is 1 1/2 years old, but it is rarely used. I primarily used the carafe that came with my Krups coffee maker and I would not expect the handle the split apart in this short amount of time (previously, I had a Medelco Eurostyle carafe for a another Krups coffee maker and it lasted 9 years). So, I called Medelco this morning to make a warranty claim. They said I would have to go through Amazon, but that it's likely out of warranty, which it is. I was told that even if I purchased the product directly from Medelco, they only warranty their products for 30 days. It's clear to me that Medelco does not stand by their products, and that their quality isn't what it used to be. I will never purchase another Medelco product and cannot recommend that anyone do so. Buyer beware!

Honestly I am SO pleased with this. I broke my Keurig K-Duo carafe from target and Keurig couldn't replace it. I have been searching high and low for a good coffee pot that fit and have been without one for months. My low energy ass finally found this and it was the only one that fit! The package comes w two lids, one of them doesn't fit but its not needed if you're looking for a k-duo replacement. Now I'm wired every day because this coffee pot fills me with joy. P.s. measurements on this carafe are a little off than how the k-duo pot measures it but it doesn't bother me cuz it knows and I know when I make 10 cups.
