TH8S Shifter Add-On for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, One, and PC – Sim Racing Gear with H-Pattern Shifter Plate, Compatible with Racing Wheels and Driving Simulator Sets

It's a nice shifter and the included mount is study enough for its purpose. It's mostly plastic aside from some metal internals, the knob can also be changed out. The 7 gears + reverse is handy and you can even turn the shifter into an x-axis (possible handbrake solution). It did develop a squeak on that very same x-axis (moving the knob to the right from the center point) but some PTFE WD40 fixed that easily. The gears are short and enter the 'gates' easily and gives good solid feedback so you know your in gear. However I wish the resistance was a little higher, it feels a bit too easy to put into gear, but that's a more immersion complaint as it probably helps during races. Overall great piece of kit for the price and does the job well for a casual sim race.

Great shifter, and far less expensive than the th8a shifter. Obviously it's not as high quality materials wise, but works perfectly. Bigger than the pictures make it look. Not too far off a real shifter size. I will say, having it be a 7 speed does lead to a little difficulty hitting 5th and 6th, particularly in vr where you can't look at the stick when you shift, but you get used to it.

Shifter itself is good quality for the price, however the weak point is in the gates for the shift knob. When I set it up after it was delivered there was a rattling noise inside the shifter, I thought it could be a part of the design but once I used it for 5 minutes the gates flew up as if they weren’t being held on. I took apart the top of the shifter to find the 4 screws that are meant to hold in the plastic gates snapped off in the little plastic tubes. I superglued the gates back onto the top of the shifter and have been using it like normal since then. It’s just a shame that it broke so quick, I’m not sure if this is a problem that occurred during shipping or whether the build quality is just subpar in this area, it didn’t really bother me much as the old superglue trick worked. Other than this the shifter is great and is a lot better for your money than the Logitech budget shifter.

Shifter is really good for the price - shifting generally feels nice, and the plastic construction has little effect on the use of the shifter, which still maintains it's high quality feel. I also like the 'sport style' knob, but it won't be for everyone. Feels considerably nicer than the logitech shifter and has little other competition at this price point.

I like how comfortable it was to hold when shifting gears, and how easy it was to mount and also change gears, as it wasn't stiff. Also the amount of gears was nice, as it had seven gears and a reverse gear. Furthermore, it looked cool and amazing with the black and red colours on it, matching my SIM racing setup. The only problem was that it wasn't compatible with my steering wheel, but that is my fault for having a bad wheel. Would recommend

Excellent fun to pair with the wheel however most constrcution is plastic so beware of wear and tear, I had one where the plastic broke off, hoping this one lasts

This actually does goes to 3 gear naturally. Also it has much wider spacing for shifting. G29 is completely trash. But this.... It feels much better. Also it is USB compatible so it does not require wheel to work. Asseto Corsa content manager detects well.

Only had 5 months, had little use and clips that hold it together have broken.

very good product, does job well

Works really well - makes a big difference when racing. Even though it's more complex than paddle shifters, it kind of forces you to be quicker because you're thinking about your next gear before clutching & shifting, makes you drive smoother.

Must have if you already have a Thrustmaster Wheel. Shifts are quite decent. The knob does feel could have been a little better. There is a higher model available, but it's a little too expensive.

Works exactly how it should. Though it is on the cheaper side of things but it works well. I sim race almost every day. Had no issues.
