These work very well!
They do a super job of keeping a wound/incision completely dry while taking a shower. The instructions aren’t written - graphics/images are provided instead. Maybe I’m dumber than a box of rocks but I found them a bit tough to understand initially. One I used one, then it all made sense of how to apply it. As a tip: We used these to protect my wife’s incision from her hip replacement surgery. To keep the sticky side from being directly on her incision, we simply folded up a tissue to place over the incision prior to applying the waterproof covering. We held the tissue on her hip by sticking it down using two tiny bandaids - one at the top and the other at the bottom. Tape would work, too. The whole process worked well - no leakage! And very easy and painless to remove.

Easy to apply.
Stick really well and easy to apply. If your not careful , they stick so well your skin may come off with it on removal.

Waterproof Shower Protector Bandage 10x12 inch
These are perfect for Castor Oil packs. I use folded cotton fabric 7” x 15” (ends up being 7” x 7.5” folded). I have no leakage what so ever. The adhesive bandage peels off the cloth perfectly after use. I love these!

Try to get the best size for your needs, it is cuttable.
I have a catheter sticking out of my chest for HD. I was told to not shower to avoid getting the catheter wet. I can’t go more than two days without showering so I needed to find a solution. Although the size I bought was too long, I was able to cut this down to fit my need. For showering, I find that adding a second layer of clear adhesive helps to keep the water out. One layer does not work. I suggest leaving at least one inches of clear adhesive from any raised areas, two inches would be for best results. It’s best to try to pull the skin area flat or smooth when applying the clear adhesive. The clear adhesive moves with the skin once applied. It is intended for single use so the adhesive isn’t as sticky if you try to remove it and reapply on the skin. I would prefer a thicker product so that I wouldn’t have to put two layers to make it effective.

Best that I have found to cover chest dialysis port
This product does take a few tries to get used to the application process, but after you figure it out it becomes very easy to apply, even in harder uneven areas, like under the armpit and over the clavicle. I put a paper towel over the port cover and keep it in place with small pieces of medical tape so that it sticks to the towel and not the port cover. I recommend using something to cover the site or it will stick to the bandage and pull it off when removing. This product is very easy to remove and keeps the port bandage nice and dry. I highly recommend. Just be patient with yourself for the first few applications. It does take a minute to find the best way to apply.

Doesn't stick well
If you're using it in the shower make sure it's a quick shower. My husband had surgery and still had a drainage tube that couldn't get wet. I covered the area using a few if theses to make sure everything was covered. It started to roll up within 5 minutes. I wouldn't purchase them again.

Tagaderm — perfect size for the job
I have to order often — they are used to protect a chest port for dialysis during showering. This port is not an easy one to cover and keep water right any other way. I appreciate this protection for the catheder at this time. If you haven't used this product before, application might take a little a little time getting used to. It had really good grip and is not difficult to remove when you are finished. **Pro Tips — clean skin around port bandage with witch hazel. Rubbing alcohol can be too drying for already irritated skin. Cover port bandage with press and seal plastic. A small piece wrapped around two dropped down ports & then a piece cut to fit for the upper part. Shingle tagaderm by covering bottom first with a piece trimmed to fit then place a piece over the top half of the area. It is stretchy, so it can conform to curves. make sure your edges are sealed (if not, cut a small strip to add extra to edge). 👍☕

Works great
Excellent post hip replacement to allow for showering without getting my wound wet. Make sure to cover the bandage with a gauze to make for easy removal and not attach to he main bandage covering the wound

First application may not work, but thereafter it'e easy/.
U will spoil one to get used to applying it. But after getting used to it is very easy. They don't provide good instructions. First, u separate the folded paper strip at one end and appy the sticky side to the area that needs protection. Seal it. Then separate two upper covers (blue) and complete the seal.

Did not keep incision dry!!!
I used one of these tonight to cover my hip replacement incision and it DID NOT keep the gauze underneath dry. It was soaked. I will try doubling it tomorrow. What a pain.
