Nothing was wrong with my old cane tip except it kept falling off. So I ordered this heavy-duty 3/4" tip and very much like it. As you can see in the photos, the new cane tip has a much larger footprint and is bigger in all dimensions. It is installed easily, fits perfectly, and is mounted firmly. I've now used it for a few days, and it looks like it will hold up well. If it doesn't, I have the spare that came with it. I feel like the larger footprint adds stability--overall, a good value.
