Paleovalley Essential Electrolytes Powder, Watermelon, Whole Food, 30 Serv

I started taking electrolyte powder because I have orthostatic hypotension and borderline POTS, and my doctor and I think I have low blood volume. I started with a typical one that has citric acid and stevia in it, and a 2:1 sodium:potassium ratio. But after drinking it daily for a while I started to develop some reactions. I had daily hives (and then remembered getting hives in the past when I had something with a lot of citric acid), my heart was racing (and then I found out stevia raises cortisol), and I started getting muscle cramps ( which often indicates too high of a sodium:potassium ratio or low magnesium. I already take high amounts of magnesium.) Also, sea salt can be loaded with microplastics so you need to be careful of the source. I decided I needed one with no citric acid, no stevia, and more potassium, that is tested for microplastics. I searched and searched. I found another unknown brand that sounded good but it tasted terrible. Then I tried this. Paleo Valley has lower levels of electrolytes, especially potassium, than I'd like, and it's expensive. But otherwise it is great. It doesn't have any citric acid or stevia, and it is third party tested. And it tastes good. So far I like the watermelon better than the orange. I'm about to try the lemon-lime. Because I want more potassium, I have started to mix this with Seeking Health electrolytes, which also meet my criteria, to get the ratios I want. I also mix with creatine. This is in my water bottle every morning and it is working well. Just wish it wasn't so expensive. This is basically medicine for me - something I need, not just want, so it sucks to have to pay so much for it.

I have LPR and have been searching for an electrolyte powder that doesn't have citric acid and finally found this one. It tastes amazing and I don't have to experience the burn from others. The only downside is that it's so expensive!

I am so happy with these ingredients! I was looking for electrolytes with no sugar and no citric acid. So hard to find!! The watermelon flavor tastes pretty good. I don’t use the full scoop, so it should last a while. I was a little surprised how small the bag was for the price, so one star off for that.

Wife likes them the best of all electrolytes we have tried that are low-sugar and more natural.

One of few electrolyte powders on Amazon that don't have Citric Acid in it. Has a pleasant mild flavor, not tart/sour.

Awful, worst tasting electrolytes I’ve ever had it’s literally made me sick. Couldn’t even finish the drink and a few hours after I drank it a felt nauseous and threw up. Tasted so artificial and nasty.

I want so badly to like this - but sadly it just tastes super fake. It has that weird monk fruity taste to it. I was hoping it would be more salty and flavorful. I'm going to try and mix what I have with real fruit juices mixed in to mask that after taste. I do appreciate that is has trace minerals that I can't get from competitors... but it has to be delicious if I'm going to drink it. *I purchased the watermelon flavor that was recommended to me by many in the hormone/nutrition space.

My husband and I both drink these electrolytes every morning and love them. Watermelon is our favorite flavor! I recommend these electrolytes to everybody I know.
